Pep to leave at the end of the season

100 points season 2017 - 2018
The Domestic Treble 2018-2019 (Quadruple if you count the Charity Shield)
The European Treble 2022-2023
4 in a row 2021 - 2024

Of those four astonishing facts, which does anyone envisage being equalled in your lifetime?

It's not an easy answer. The harder I think about it, the less likely it looks to me that any will be equalled. I suppose you might say the domestic treble. But it is odd, and significant, that no-one's ever done it apart from us.
With a little bit of tweaking here and there, we could have done it a second time of course.
I'm very sure that no-one will get to 100 points in my lifetime (that said, I am in my seventies!). Virtually every set of players, once they've got the title won, tails off. It's human. Pep got inhuman achievements out of his players. A very particular set of circumstances led to Liverpool getting so close. That will not happen again, I believe. Also, I don't see anyone doing the four in a row. Only Pep could have driven a team to do that. Towards the end of that season, the team was like the walking dead. You could see it. The following season, injuries and all, was the reaction to that. Bodies and brains said “Enough, boss!”

There I was trying to get through my workday, and then bloody dua lipa levitating comes on the radio and all i can see is Pep dancing, having the time of his life on stage.:(
Just one of those special moments when we’ve seen Pep so happy.

Can I just say here in the Deep South of spain where there are multitude of different fans in the prem,
I get asked are city fucked now he’s gone ? And I have to remind the fuckers that our two previous managers won a double and a prem lg and where only there for couple of seasons.

I think I have watched the video a dozen times and it doesn't get easier.

Not only for the success and the style he is just one hell of a man.

For anyone who is down about our future I think you should be reassured that we have some wonderful people at the club who will ensure we are in good hands moving forwards. It it unlikely to be as good, but whilst this may be my small time mentality from the dark days, we have won more than I could ever dream of and I'll get behind whoever is next and hope for more success.

If it doesn't come, if the bad days return then I have memories that will make them pass thanks to Pep's talent, commitment and passion for our club and for football.

It makes me very proud to know that we have had someone as special as him managing our football club. And even prouder that one of, if not the greatest manager there has ever been has fallen in love with City, with Manchester and that we have left an eternal mark on him as well.

All.ive got to say is thankyou pep I've seen some of the greatest football this country has seen but pep broke records left right and centre and we won the fucking lot deffo greatest manager prem has seen 20 trophies in 10 yrs

We all know Pep won 20 trophies over 10 years how many did Fergie win over 10 years
I have a school reunion on Monday with mostly reds so I asked AI how many years did it take AF to win 20 and it says 17 years, so when they say Pep inherited a great team I will say so AF was shit for 7 years!

The quality and of the football between 2017-2023 was simply the greatest football I've ever seen and possibly ever will see and we got to revel in it every week. The winning mentality for all 10 years was incredible. Good job pep.

There were times during that period where we literally left other sides bewildered. It wasn't just that they couldn't compete they simply couldn't work out what was being done to them.

Now the disappointing dust settles - obviously he earned the right to go how and when he wanted - but can't help thinking he's made a mistake and will regret this decision. Situations like this don't align often. He has shaped and (with others) has built this club exactly how he wants, we're competitive and still winning trophies with a developing team, we're 2 or 3 signings from possibly reclaiming our CL crown which is his raison d'etre - off field the club development continues, and he actually loves Manchester and the club.
A month or two off, watching the World Cup will kill him, the type of personality he is. Unless this is about a reconciliation with his wife, then why Pep? Why?
