That was the best decision Pep ever made in my opinion lol
 
As an official FOC, I think the older fans (most - ok, some) are uniquely placed to handle this massive event. There is still part of me that has been waiting for this for ten years and have always thought from the mid 70's to the early 2000's, any minor improvements wouldn't last and was right, so many times, so you steel yourself mentally for the disappointment.

Don't get me wrong, I love the guy and it will be ten years before we can do a like for like comparison with whoever takes over. His ability to keep those plates spinning when others couldn't even get them to stay on the pole has been incredible.

So, as others have said, I'm not sad it's over I'm really chuffed it happened, because I never expected it. For a couple of seasons now I'm not going to joke about 40 points.

Thanks Pep, it's been a blast.
 
Ten years of Pep, bloody hell. Looking back at message he released yesterday and you see some of clips of the team and what they achieved and you reflect on what you were up to in your life at the time.

Bombing out Joe Hart in the quest to find a keeper who could play with his feet. I don’t think we had a proper left back in the full ten years Pep was in charge. Fabian Delph and Zinchenko both did solid jobs and then Pep brought Cancelo in to completely change what a full back does with him constantly on the attack.

Playing Kolorov as a centre back and you forget how good Nicolas Otamendi was in the centurions season. That team was relentless that year, they could have let up but kept grinding wins out till the final day. It was that good the likes of Bernardo and Gundo couldn’t get a start.

The domestic treble being way behind Liverpool when we lost to Newcastle in January. Every game to the end was anxiety filled from March onwards. Sat in the home end at the swamp having to sit on my hands to stop me from celebrating when Bernardo go the break through and Vinny scoring that goal against Leicester.

Beating Madrid in the bernabau just before covid hit and lithe world coming grinding to a stop with no form of sporting competitions for months. Those dark days of us all being confined to our houses City with the football they were playing was the thing to look forward to.

The champions league final in 2021 when Pep did his scheduled over thinking and got it wrong. Going two down against Villa in May 2022 and then dramatically turning it around. The treble season where this team provided two back to back greatest Saturdays of my life at Wembley and then Istanbul.

Never been done before four in row, a supercup and a world club championship. We’ve been spoilt beyond our wildest dreams. He’s started the rebuild and signed off with two cups, will be a difficult adjustment seeing someone else in the dugout.

A game with nothing riding on it against a hungover Villa team, and if there is pitch invasion (very possible) and they take too long setting up the farewell some fans will piss off as they can say goodbye the day after.
 
Just ordered a Pep game changer T-shirt with the 20 trophies listed on the back. It’s delivery only as I was hoping to collect at the store and wear it.

Why would be there be a pitch invasion, we are not winning anything tomorrow
