I hope so. I just remember us losing our final game at Maine Road in typical City fashion. I would hope that Pep’s final game isn’t remembered in a similar way.
It won’t. Be it 10 0 us or 10 p them, or a drab draw, nobody will care. Villa fans buzzing about their euro win and our lot celebrating the 8 who are leaving. The match is irrelevant.

I might be wrong but I think you can probably tell who else is on their way in the summer by looking at that starting 11

Rico, Nico and Reijnders hardly kicked a ball for months and start once it becomes meaningless

Also hoping for a City win, dipper win(spit) to see Bournemouth into the Champions League. Could be a fun day with those cunts getting relegated to. Obviously I'm devastated we didn't win it, but it's also nice just to put the feet up and enjoy it. World Cup round the corner and then the new season upon us.

We'll see what Foden's made of today. A start and a chance to show the Kraut he's made a mistake by not picking him. Test of character today. Not that the England manager will change his mind but Foden needs to show him what will be missing for England at the World Cup.

Smacks of a team meeting, where players who are on flights to the WC, are given the option to swerve this and avoid potential injury. Thereby, also allowing Pep to select players who are either leaving the Club or had little playing time on the pitch.

Any squealing about the starting X1 today is laughable. If Pep had played Khus and left Stones on the bench, played Rodders and left out Bernie, Dias for Ake etc etc. we'd have been gutted. Played Haaland for him to do an ACL? NOR to do a hammy? Come on, let's not wet our knickers about fuck all.

This is about 2 legendary players and a magnificent departing coach today, nothing else.

Good on yer Pep.

a team selection partly based on sentiment, partly to protect a couple (no haaland) and partly to give some minutes to those who aint had many (Trafford, Lewis Reijnders)

Could be any result today as a lot of our weaker players on their and Villa have a very good team out (missing Rogers though)

Some of these players wont play again for us (the obvious ones) but also the likes of Lewis and maybe Sav who probably both probably need to be sold

Reijnders - massive weakness in the starting 11...he is lucky Pep is leaving as he will get another chance next season but he will need to step up a few levels to even get close to being good enough..
