The result changed nothing in the table and the after match was about Pep not Bernard and Stones.
I didn't mind the interruptions at all and I thought it was a classy touch from the Villa players
 
A brilliant gesture in a nothing match that meant a lot to a lot of people yet you still get miserable fuckers moaning and saying it's cringy. This is what's wrong with society today, to much hatred and division, We need more of this coming together to show there are still decent human beings out there.

Fuck about, players want to celebrate a poignant moment in a game that doesn't mean anything and people still want to have a problem with it. If that's all you have to complain about then you must be doing alright, because it really should not be something to be frustrated about.

It's a sad indictment of the current state of the world when celebrating someone, celebrating what they mean to people and others showing their gratitude, is what annoys and upsets people.

Came completely out of the blue, everybody knew that John and Bernardo would be subbed at some stage to allow us to show our appreciation so presumably the Villa players and manager had decided to do that pre match. Very classy of them in my opinion and no surprise the usual miserable, anti City pundits are being sour faced about it. It just makes Villa look even classier and them look like even bigger wankers. Nice words from Andy Robertson re Pep and Seamus Coleman at the end of his last Liverpool game.

You seriously didn't think City would be going at it for 90+ minutes 'hell for leather' did you ?? They had no reason to other than for pride.

How could either club have been absolutely certain that fans wouldn't invade the pitch at the end of the game, and kaibosh any late guard of honour plans ??

Yes, I've just gone and found Andy Robertsons comments. I disliked him intensely when the bitter rivalry between the clubs was at its peak 2018- 2023, but fair play to him for that and I wish him all the best.

Incidentally have any clubs tweeted to congratulate VARsanal on their PIGmol, er I mean PL title? I hope none have!
