Re this being the ceiling of Arsenal - I'd doubt that tbh. They've been playing with the handbrake on due to psychological stresses and it may be that with the monkey off their backs the players will feel more free. Added to the Kroenkes saying they'll invest heavily in the summer, a young squad, an already established top class defensive unit and keeper, the foundations are there. I'm not saying this heralds a period of dominance or anything like that (just look at how the Dippers fell off a cliff when everyone was saying they'd piss the league) but I do think this Arsenal group has plenty of room to grow. I don't think the Dippers do. I think City do and sadly I think the Rags also do.

Re Spanish giants coming in for our players - Barca don't have a pot to piss in. Madrid would be an enticing option for players like Saliba but he's on a long-term contract so they won't be able to do their usual shitty coercing behind the scenes behaviour like they usually do and instead will have to write a fat cheque.

This Arsenal team are just unlikeable. We are not alone - it is clear that fans of almost every other team don't like them either.

The last Arsenal team to win the title had players like Henry, Pires, Bergkamp, Kanu, Ljungberg - players that you could actually appreciate even when they were ripping you a new one.

Personally speaking, I liked watching these players play, if the current Arsenal team were playing in my back garden I would pull the curtains.

There is a reason, they play boring football relying on dubious set pieces, most of their players are as odious as their arsehole of a manager

I've just spent the entirety of that clip staring expressionless at what I've just watched. Fucking hell.

It's Arsenals version of "you just got kane'd" but they've seemingly spent a considerable amount of money to do it and they don't come across as people with learning difficulties(except ty). Wow.

By all means be excited but that is just proper cringe.
