Actually I wouldn’t. I have watched him play a lot for the rags. He spams a lot of long balls into the box, takes every freekicks, corners and penalties and is basically given the freedom to do whatever he wants. He is a good player no doubt but the hype is crazy. His assists in every season are 21, 10, 8, 8, 6, 12 and 7. His 21 is an exception.
Compare that to KDB’s:
9, 18, 16, 20, 12, 8, 16, 10 and 7. Keep in mind in most of these seasons, KDB didn’t play every game like Bruno. I mean just in the 2023-24 season, he came back from injury and had 10 assists in 18 appearances compared to Bruno’s 8 in 35.

And none of the big clubs in europe have shown any interest in signing him as far as I am aware.

If he is the real deal that the media make him out to be, why is that ?

He wouldn't get away with his moaning at officials and indiscipline in any other league apart from the PL where PGMOL are used to facilitate his behaviour.

Pleading to be taken off as the dippers crushed the rags ? The mark of a world-class player ?

and whilst Im on about it. In every other single Premier League match, ever, when the ball hits the bar/post, rebounds, hits the keeper and goes in the net, it is given as an own goal. Every time, (have I mentioned that).

Apparently (and this is not a joke) the official line is that the ball would have defied the laws of gravity and gone in anyway if It had not hit the keeper who was standing in front of the goal line.

His career stats prove he is bang average. This season is a blip in a very ordinary career. No wonder Roy Keane, who despite being an arsehole knows about midfield players, mocks him.

That said, Bruno is a top, top player. When you consider who he has just over taken, its so impressive. I firmly believe KDB is the best midfielder the league has seen and Henry arguably the best forward. So if you've just beaten their record, you obviously have some serious quality. "But but but loads were set pieces" - and? That just proves he's quality from a dead ball. Wish we had someone that was!!!

Just read an article around how pep gave a post match team talk to our team after we had beaten them. The talk wasnt around the usual tactics and what we could do better - but instead he named a rag player and showed clips he had already set up, to show and highlight to our players of how not to act as it is damaging to team moral

After fodens goal, the highlights showed a senior rag player berating and shouting at his own players...

That player was fernandes
