That, and them taking 4 points off us!Probably saved Spurs from getting relegated by not selling him to them last summer

What youve written kinda applies to all wingers these days, like Semenyo who we just spent £60mil onHe can play striker , false 9 and right wing. He's filled in at right wing for Newcastle. He prefers left wing but can play anywhere in the front three
I agree.I’d love to see wingers on the correct side again, getting in round the back of their full backs and finding a pass on their strong foot. It’s no surprise to me that Doku rarely finds his man as we’re asking him to thread a ball through his double up markers into a penalty box where two centre backs and a 6 only have to think about one striker with his weak foot. Sav would be much better on the left and we can have Doku on the right. We don’t exactly have full backs that love to bomb on on the overlap. Nico underlaps very effectively
Its a misconception that a few have said. He's played quite a few more games on the right side than the left over the last 3 seasons.I thought Semenyo was more of a left winger.
I think Savio and Marmoush will both likely leave. So we'd have Doku, Semenyo, and Cheeki as the 3 Wingers. With Semenyo and Cheeki not being dedicated wingers, i figured a dedicated RW will be the best bet. Don't know who though. Too lazy to research someone we aren't linked to.
Nobbins was basing his opinion on the idea that Savinho is in the next level of wingers immediately below the Yamals and Olises. That's a decent stretch for me and makes his whole opinion extremely debatable. I suggest he doesn't expose himself to too much sun at one time...Yep Nobbins on YouTube explained it well, we’ve invested so much time into Savio that pushing the reset button for a side step seems counter productive, we’re not getting a real upgrade unless you get the big names, so you’re forced to start another project which is the Chelsea model hoping to get it right one day.
I think we need to focus on the ability/quality more than the position. Ideally would like a winger that plays on both wings, technically gifted and a high ceiling. Or someone who is unstoppable in one aspect like Doku. Compete with Semenyo but offers a different skillset.
Semenyo is a bagsman but not easy on the eyes. It would be nice to get someone cut from the same cloth as a Ait Nouri, Cherki, Savio but with shooting capabilities.
Either way GK, midfield and backup RB are way bigger priorities.
A ball playing GK that is good at defending corners, physically dominant but technical midfield and a Nunes understudy that doesn’t get easily bullies
Depth...But we have Semenyo as 1st choice RW
We're heavily linked to a 17 going on 18 year old called McAidoo. If Savinho is gone I'd be happy for him to be integrated to the 1st team and used as a rest and/or rotation option on the right wing.I thought Semenyo was more of a left winger.

Both Doku and Semenyo had spells when they looked tired and went off the boil in the closing months, despite us having no European commitments beyond St.Patrick's Day. The key for the next coach has to be rotating more effectively, and with neither Doku nor Semenyo looking comfortable operating on the other wing, we need someone who can deputise on either side.Depth...
Linked?? We already own him (McAidoo)....We're heavily linked to a 17 going on 18 year old called McAidoo. If Savinho is gone I'd be happy for him to be integrated to the 1st team and used as a rest and/or rotation option on the right wing.
We are a little light upfront and the composition of the squad is slightly off. Players have drops in form/injuries/suspensions, thats where the squad comes into it. And where we have been found lacking a little imo. Both Doku and Semenyo had spells when they looked tired and went off the boil in the closing months, despite us having no European commitments beyond St.Patrick's Day. He was great at left back in the Centurions seasonDepth...
Whoosh...Linked?? We already own him (McAidoo)....
He's been coming into his own on the left so makes sense to shift him to the other side of the field...Maybe he's got plans to play doku on the right?
Agreed. But you know, managers like to put their own stamp on things! He's been coming into his own on the left so makes sense to shift him to the other side of the field...
