Maresca quit - it's between him and Chelsea. Nothing to do with us.

No there won’t be any contract stuff, they may report us for tapping up if we did make contact before he left, but that won’t impact any appointment. I think he’s already signed and we do all the media and announcements this week.Whether we have to pay any compensation down the road, no idea. Can't see that. If Chelsea are entitled to anything at all it will be very clearly stated in maresca contract/ severance terms in order to make it binding.
If not, they won't have a leg to stand on - either way won't take long to resolve.
a few million quid either way to secure the man the hierarchy have decided upon isn't going to break the bank, is it.
nowt to worry about at all.
that's one way to look at it.Pay Chelsea more than what Liverpool paid us for hacking our database? No thanks!
that's one way to look at it.
another is we paid over 40million for kalvin phillips
so perspective is always needed.
and i'm not sure there's a comparison with compo from the dippers and coughing up for a new manager. One is a buying a player. The other is a club payment. Not sure how they compare.

2 different things, which was sort of my point.
it's a minuscule amount to the club if we get who we want, mate.
it's nowt worth mithering over if he brings us success.
if he doesn't then that's another matter :)
"buying a player from another club under a current contract is legally considered compensation. The "transfer fee" is financial compensation paid to the selling club for the premature termination of the player’s employment contract, allowing the buying club to register the player"Both are compensation payments. Hope that helps
Does he?I like Donnarumma he's been amazing but if goalkeeper is so important that they need to be tempo setter be able to pass short and wide but also sweep.
Then Trafford fits much better but he wants to leave there is a scenario next season hopefully it doesn't happen but we could have Charles who looks like is the favourite to come in as Tarffords replacement from Sheffield Wednesday as our first team keeper, if Donnarumma can't adjust.
Didn't Arsenal contact Captain Black whilst he was assistant manager at us?Well I think if City did contact Maresca whilst he was a coach at CFC, then there is a potential problem that needs to be closed off.
Did he manage Arsenal??i am a bit of an anagramist.
enzo maresca comes up with fuck all of any worth
but his real name is vincenzo maresca
= amazes convincer or amaze convincers
still not tiptop but better than arson eczema

same difference, no?
Who cares ? They're welcome to him.Didn't Arsenal contact Captain Black whilst he was assistant manager at us?
that could lead to all kinds of problems. better to settle first. No there won’t be any contract stuff, they may report us for tapping up if we did make contact before he left, but that won’t impact any appointment. Like we could have paid Barcelona for messi despite there being no need to do so?and i'm not sure there's a comparison with compo from the dippers and coughing up for a new manager.
