Champions League Final 2026 | Sat 30th May | Paris Saint-Germain v Arsenal

Just to point out our new manager is the only man to outplay and take apart this PSG team. I know it was a club world cup but he still did it
i give him his due in that but PSG were cooked after winning the Champions League and not having much of a break.

The CS game in Cardiff I must admit I was not looking forward to as their fanbase is unbearable.....I am looking forward to it now.

Eze went too soon re his bottlers comment and it has come back on him, should have stayed humble.

Gabriel providing the other miss was just wonderful, told my lads at HT that he will miss a penalty as he's an arrogant prick.
What did he say?

We were playing PSG and for all their possession it wasn't like they had a ton of chances. If we'd gone toe to toe we'd have been ripped apart. We didn't lose the match (obviously apart from pens which is a lottery) so if it had gone the other way and footballers paid £200k+ a week actually manage to hit the fucking target from 12 yards then the dastardly plan might have worked.

I'd imagine heavy investment in the summer plus we are guaranteed CWC qualification unless 2 different PL sides win the CL in the next couple of years and neither of them is Arsenal or City (the 2 PL sides with the highest English coefficients).
Coat tails, keep on hanging.

True, I know it's easy to deride that competition, but PSG beat Bayern and destroyed Madrid on the way to the final against the Chavs, so they did take it seriously.
Big credit to Enrique and PSG against the best bunch of spoilers since some vintage Italian teams and recent Atletico Madrid teams were around.
We know how hard it is to break down stone-wall defences, and with the Arse getting that early goal, it meant that they could just spoil and spoil their way to victory - and that's exactly what they were doing. No interest in possession for possession's sake; let's just do what we're great at - defending - and wait for a late chance. A chance that never really came.
Ironic that they neutralised Kravat.... but it was at the cost of losing any real contribution from their most dangerous player; Saka. (See the MOTD analysis.)
Then to get an ending where Gabrielle absolutely fucked it up was just the greatest end to the season we could have dreamt of - maybe, him and Lewis-Skelly can share some humble pie between them.
Karma!
Your next chance isn't happening next year because Arteta won't change things - despite you having the money to improve the squad. That was your big chance and you reverted to type.
2nd again.
Cunts.

Great result. Fkin Gooners crying. Lmao!

We should have got the PSG manager for the next City era.
Trust me, we've got the right guy. Besides, why would anybody leave Paris for Manchester? Nothing wrong with either city but you have the better weather in France, and less competition in the league so it's a less taxing position.

Mmmmm

They will double down and over celebrate to mask the pain
Absolutely deserve this massive dampener to their parade. Deliberately delayed it to celebrate the CL win as well tells you everything about their arrogance. They were actually starting to believe the media hype.
