Champions League Final 2026 | Sat 30th May | Paris Saint-Germain v Arsenal

Big credit to Enrique and PSG against the best bunch of spoilers since some vintage Italian teams and recent Atletico Madrid teams were around.
We know how hard it is to break down stone-wall defences, and with the Arse getting that early goal, it meant that they could just spoil and spoil their way to victory - and that's exactly what they were doing. No interest in possession for possession's sake; let's just do what we're great at - defending - and wait for a late chance. A chance that never really came.
Ironic that they neutralised Kravat.... but it was at the cost of losing any real contribution from their most dangerous player; Saka. (See the MOTD analysis.)
Then to get an ending where Gabrielle absolutely fucked it up was just the greatest end to the season we could have dreamt of - maybe, him and Lewis-Skelly can share some humble pie between them.
Karma!
Your next chance isn't happening next year because Arteta won't change things - despite you having the money to improve the squad. That was your big chance and you reverted to type.
2nd again.
Cunts.
You're responding to the wrong guy mate.

We were playing PSG and for all their possession it wasn't like they had a ton of chances. If we'd gone toe to toe we'd have been ripped apart. We didn't lose the match (obviously apart from pens which is a lottery) so if it had gone the other way and footballers paid £200k+ a week actually manage to hit the fucking target from 12 yards then the dastardly plan might have worked.

I'd imagine heavy investment in the summer plus we are guaranteed CWC qualification unless 2 different PL sides win the CL in the next couple of years and neither of them is Arsenal or City (the 2 PL sides with the highest English coefficients).
You didn't lose the match? So you won then ?? Typical fucking Arsenal fan making excuses for being shit.. your team are fucking shite and you and the rest of your fans are laughed at across the country ( and Europe)

Just absolutely fucking glorious! Bragged about never conceding a penalty all year, conceded one and got beaten on penalties. Waited 22 years for a league and will forever remember it as the year they lost the CL final, no matter how hard they try to convince you they won't.

And finally, that absolutely fucking **** was the one to miss the big kick. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

Get that lad and his arsenal bottle out again on Sky ahahahaaaaa!

Wankers

TNT were bigging up Arsenal theoughout the game, but the stats showed something different. The penalty appeal against PSG was, frankly, embarrassing. Apart from Arsenal’s goal they were bang average, just like all season, and for once their set pieces were rubbish.Raya was their MOTM, which says it all really.

I agree, how anyone thought they controlled that game is beyond me and they're still banging on about the Madueke penalty appeal!

How come no one's talking about why the arse right back didn't get a yellow for the foul for PSG's penalty? It would've be a second yellow too...and how many times did Saka handle the ball in his own area, just the twice was it, but no mention about that either.

The bias in favour of them, today and all season, was a joke!

The point is it proves you're nowhere near the level you think you're at. 196 completed passes the same number as Rodri alone had in a single Premier League match. From an entire team that we're being led to believe by your chairman are going to go on and dominate for years. Your showpiece final in which you had one shot on target in 120 minutes against a PSG side that frankly, by their standards were not very good themselves on the night and most of their key players had gone off before the end of the match.

If you're not capable of going toe to toe, if you're only capable of scraping ahead then the usual timewasting, low block tactics and just punting the ball forward in hope more than expectation in the showpiece match of the domestic season then you're not the top class side Kroenke and co think you are. You have some half decent players but your manager is a one trick pony, it's the only way you can play. All that talk of the quadruples, hilarious. Trebles, no chance. Double? That it went to penalties was only because PSG were below par, you might have got away with it, but this isn't going to endure season by season and Arteta doesn't have a plan B.

Well done PSG. I didn't see the match but of course I'm glad they won. Best knowing that absolute wanker missed the spot kick. Easily the most dislikeable player in the league for several years.

Enrique is doing a fine job there.
You didn't miss much. PSG didn't look that interested and still endured. It would have been a travesty if Arsenal had won. Stranger things happen of course...but not tonight.

Hold your horses, Cowboy !
There's quite a few other suspects, especially one that looks like a rodent and behaves like a weasel ?

This PSG side are one of the best teams ever. Credit to Enrique for building such a team and playing outstanding football. I wish he came to us.
I take it that's a wind up? As bad as Arsenal were, that's the only way they can play but PSG weren't exactly ripping up any trees and could easily have lost on the lottery that is penalties. I would have fancied this City team to win that by 3 or 4 goals tonight.

It was Arsenal so no chance of anybody getting a second yellow. I'm almost surprised VAR didn't overturn the penalty.

Yeah so one game defines their entire season? We were largely shite against Inter in the final. Also considering they were denied a penalty in first half, they should have won in normal time.

They're not exactly in the toughest league in the world though are they? I'm not belittling the achievements but PSG are at the level we'd expect them to be at. One of the best teams ever? Sorry, no chance. Arsenal are not exactly world class opponents either, only made the final because they had the easiest route ever.

Fuck off you sad bitter stoke on Thames supporting ****. Setting up like that in a final is a fucking disgrace. Arteta is a LEGO headed **** that’s spent a billion on stoke v2 with added time wasting and diving! Arsenal are anti football and an Arsenal fan being on a opposition forum on their biggest night in history is chief **** so once you fuck off, fuck off again and had a 2 fingered wank over Gabby being a cheating shithouse. Oh and then fuck off again.

Weasel has had the acclaim for many years, it's only fair he passed it on to Gabriel who slaps his chest 44 times in a row knocking the ball out for a throw or tackling somebody as if it's a goal celebration. Absolute wanker
