Crying part i agree with
Rebuild midfield is a bit much. They actually only need someone like Wharton and that’s it. McAllister fell off unless it was just a weaker season of his.
I go with salah replacement and an RB though.
They already getting leoni back and that talent from Rennes for CB
they will need to replace Robertson, but yeah, LW is a bigger priority for them

They need a midfielder rebuild
Gravenberch isn't a #6, the club know that as do the fans he's not good enough to protect the defence
Mac Allister looks like hes been run into the ground, they will likely sell him
Curtis Jones is flirting with leaving as he isnt good enough to be a mainstay
Wirtz is a #10 if that, hes too weak to be a central midfielder
They need at least 2 bodies in CM, a #6 to anchor the midfield and then a replacement for Mac Allister

Somewhat agree, but think that graph shows why he wants to move
He's 25, he's out of contract next summer and hes never successfully made the breakthrough into the first team as a permanent fixture
They're going to spend big on a new midfielder like Wharton, Szoboszlai is their best player, Gravenberch steps into the #8 role and is better than him and Wirtz they have to commit to given what they've spent. His path is blocked in his prefered midfield role.
He starts for teams like Newcastle/Villa etc. and most top European clubs where he can win titles (Inter are the heaviest link)

Got to admire PSG recruitment team, they go in quick and with proper numbers for the players they want.
One positive is Akliouche may be available now as he looked certain to go to PSG and that seems to have quickened down.
Decent skillset. Seems like a good guy as well as he's really looked after his family

highly technical, can create, can score

Will check out some videos of him today then, sounds promising!
Definitely check him out he looks class. There will be some here that says doesn’t fit Maresca’s style for a winger but the RW market is lacking and he’s clearly destined for the top. As highly rated in France as Cherki was last year.

It's all about opinions but whilst there is no denying he has many positive attributes, I don't see it with him. He operates best when he occupies the half-space on the rhs and that's where the majority of his numbers have come from. His crossing isn't the best, he often struggles technically when under physical pressure, and I've noticed a few times that he is often reluctant to take on his man when operating out wide. I think we'd get frustrated with him very quickly.
I completely get that's my subjective opinion after a few watches, but given we are try to elevate this squad techincally, I think our money would be better spent elsewhere.
