Players who might improve us

Geez tough room. Yes he failed there but some players aren’t ready for certain levels. Nobody knew Kvara before Napoli and now look at him.
Sorry. Tzolis struggled in the Netherlands and Germany as well before finding his feet in Brugge. As I said, there may still be a top player in there, but I think he would need to prove it at a higher level before we would contemplate. Maybe he will end up in England, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he went to Italy first, someone like Juventus or Roma.

He's a player that people have been down about for a while, everyone has been staying away. kind of like how no one went for kvara.. but i always thought he was unbelievable. not sure if he's done anything the past few years but I definitely think we could use more oomph in attack.

We definitely knew him at Napoli, especially in 22/23 when they beat the brakes off Liverpool. Him, Osimhen and Simeone were immense that day.

KDB, Hazard, Kompan

fairs I’m just starting to think transfer policies need to be adjusted. I think Viana is perfect for this new age. A player like Khusonov Reis etc players with high potential we used to get these players after they’ve proved themselves in a better league and we’d pay 60m but instead we pay half. And 40m 2010-2015 is now 85m due to inflations look at Gordan he’s a 50 mil player but you’re paying a fortune for him. So when the club picks out a player they have 3 options, be ahead of the curve and accept their early in development, pay top dollar for the crème de la crème or overpay for decent players

zero work ethic off the ball, can’t carry passengers esp in the prem, plus maresca prioritises pressing way more than pep. Can’t work.

an interesting one

explosive transition monster

would help with transition, can run behind high lines, is a physical and fast

he could love to be in Maresca's City

probably only weaknesses are inconsistency and poor-ish defensive work, but we had the same issue with Doku and he is ok there

also he is a LW, we are good there

to me he seems Arsenal bound tbh

I’d say there’s one other option: buy players whom you recognise are good but will take time to reach the physical state needed to prove their value. Guys such as Marmoush, Gonzalez, and Reijnders fit this category. Had they all been playing in the League already, we’d have paid a king’s ransom as opposed to a princely sum.
They’ve all shown glimpses of what they can do, and I’m hopeful all three will step up next season. However, the squad is now at the stage where only League-proven need be added, imo.

He has also suffered consistent injuries.

Can see him going to Liverpool or the rags before Arsenal.

Would not be surprised if we went for Trincao given how well Viana knows him. Not really a direct 1v1 winger like Savinho more akin to a Mahrez profile.

More a project than improve us immediately.

Julian Hall 18 (Zakrzewski) his mother’s Polish surname. New York Red Bulls.
LW-CF-RW.

Making waves in the MLS has become the youngest player in MLS to score a hat trick. I became aware of him just after the winter window here and since checking in to see his progress I have discovered he is banging in the goals 9 from 15 appearances.
He played against City U21’s earlier this year in the PL International Cup as a guest player for RB Leipzig.

Contracted until 31/12/2026 ….maybe an opportunity to prise him away.

He’s not a player I totally love but with a
shortage of options at right-wing perhaps City look at Pedro Neto. Knows Maresca and his system was a favourite of his, good OOP and with levels to go up

We already have Semenyo.
