Rollercoaster Rescue in Texas!

I’ve been on one rollercoaster in my life - The Big One when it first opened. When it reached the apex I remember looking to my right and seeing how far down the beach was. It holds its position for a few seconds, and it was at that moment I knew I’d fucked up. Two minutes of pure hell.

I can’t even begin to imagine the fear of being unbuckled in that position those students are in, and having to step onto that ladder. Horrific.

The only time I've been on that is after most of the people I was with went on it (I refused as I detest man made heights) and I got stuck for half an hour waiting with the most boring man on the planet (if I'd known I'd have gone on the first time) who also had a fear of heights. The second time they went on I jumped at the chance.
Never again...to either.

I don’t know in this country if we’d have anything to reach that high! Love a good rollercoaster I’d love to go to six flags in the usa where they have loads.

Absolutely hated them until my daughter was old enough to go on them. A day at Alton Towers got rid of my fear and now I love them. Nowt like bonding with your kid as you're both trying not to throw up after your third go of Oblivion.

was on Pipeline (stand up roller coaster) at Sea World in Florida the morning of the Everton game last month when the ride got stuck, fortunately we were on flat ground as the ride had almost finished, but was stuck on it for half hour with sun blazing down on , but the safety was the #1 priority for us and it had to be evacuated 1 row at a time, the process was done perfectly but I feel for those who were stuck inverted as after a matter of minutes it will begin to get uncomfortable with all the restraints, looking at this it would probably have taken a few hours especially with all the procedures even though theme parks are always have planned for these moments
