Fuck. That.
The only time I've been on that is after most of the people I was with went on it (I refused as I detest man made heights) and I got stuck for half an hour waiting with the most boring man on the planet (if I'd known I'd have gone on the first time) who also had a fear of heights. The second time they went on I jumped at the chance.I’ve been on one rollercoaster in my life - The Big One when it first opened. When it reached the apex I remember looking to my right and seeing how far down the beach was. It holds its position for a few seconds, and it was at that moment I knew I’d fucked up. Two minutes of pure hell.
I can’t even begin to imagine the fear of being unbuckled in that position those students are in, and having to step onto that ladder. Horrific.
I don’t know in this country if we’d have anything to reach that high! Love a good rollercoaster I’d love to go to six flags in the usa where they have loads.
