Thought it might be useful to create a new thread for the Summer transfer window so it's easy to share info in one place

Quick recap on the biggest stories being discussed in other threads over the weekend.

Niamh Charles to City looking likely
For me it's not the most exciting signing as she's not really kicked on over the past couple of years (although has had injury issues) and it's q telling she's never made the England spot her own despite us not having had one for several years now.

On the plus side, she is defintely an upgrade so it strengthens us. There aren't many decent LBs out there at the mo and she comes with a lot of experience despite only being 26 and Emma Hayes trusted her during her time there. Plus she's English and i think we headed into this Summer only having 1 overseas spot free for our UWCL squad (depending on other departures)

McCabe to Chelsea
Good move for Chelsea this i think. McCabe the best LB in the league this season (albeit bar was low). Also her being 30 isn't a problem as they have Sarwie coming through who is only 17

Other Stories ongoing
Mead to City - she was at the cup final watching Viv yesterday. Think this will happen.

Putellas to LCL?

Chelsea pursuing Felicia Schroeder after missing out on Bunny

Niamh Charles certainly would solve the immediate need at left back though you have to be guarded with her injury history. Hopefully a change of scenery suits her.

Mead would add knowledge. experience of big games and enhance the squad. She aint going to play every week but wouldnt need to.

UWCL squad is upto 25 on the A List which must include 8 homegrown (4 of which are club trained.) If you fall short on HG players your permitted squad size lowers accordingly. And then theres unlimited B List with same rules as in men's.

Are the WSL squad rules the same as the PL?

Hanson to Spurs looks to be on. Huge loss for Villa but will be interesting to see how well she does at Spurs. A solid experienced player but out performed her xG this season so will be interesting to see if she can keep it up.

Spurs have also signed Martinez and Dijkstra plus it looks like Pelova is on her way too.

That's in addition to signing Gaupset in January

A much less flashy but way more serious approach than LCL and i think they will finish above them next season. Good coach too.
