Me and the wife are currently watching the Tom Hanks WW2 documentary, it’s good, although I doubt it will ever match up to the original Laurence Oliver one. I’ve learnt a few things I didn’t know particularly the Japanese/USA parts so far, however whilst watching I mentioned that it’s no wonder the yanks dropped nuclear weapons on them as they were nutters, to which she replied what do you mean? She never knew nuclear weapons had been used! She’s 44 and didn’t know, I couldn’t believe that someone of that age wouldn’t know that. I’m often surprised at other peoples lack of general knowledge but that one shocked me I thought everyone knew.

I'm re-watching on Sky the series about The American Civil War. If you have not seen it a very good series. Lincoln really was a great orator.
