Khaldoon's end of season interview | Pt 1 (p3) | Pt 2 (p12)

His answers indicate that he is saying “keep calm and we will carry on”. He would never promise anything he can’t fulfill, so it sounds like the new coach will be announced very soon and they have clear ideas about new signings. Some people on here, if cut in half horizontally, would have a circle of letters like a stick of rock, spelling cynic.
Somehow, I very much doubt that, BB ;)

I thought that was an excellent watch.

But then again, I’m just a normal fan and I don’t have to pretend to be some kind of uber-cool, nuanced, intellectual giant like so many do on here every year when these interviews come out.

We should all just be happy and grateful that our club is in such good hands without the need to berate the perceived lack of intellectual subtlety.
Every. Fucking. Year.

In Khaldoon I trust.

Totally agree

The club is so wonderfully well run! I trust the process and the judgements he makes implicitly.

Under his stewardship I think our successes can continue!

When you see how much goes on in his life outside of football, it makes you realise how much of his time he gives for City, and how good he is for us.
The amount of time and travel Khaldoon has spent related to City is astounding. Even 1st Class travel is tiring plus the constant time changes. He has been doing it for near 20 years and clearly loves football and City.

However you do wonder how long he will be able to continue to carry out his Chairman duties so diligently when it is essentially not his main job which also requires travel and to be away from his family.

Sounds like something he’d say down the golf course or palace or whatever, not to the world haha. Comes off a little disrespectful to Pep imo but only read this not watched anything so assume it was said jokingly.
He was basically patting himself on the back, saying he kept convincing Pep to stay. But he gift wrapped them the talking point that he “admits” Pep wanted to leave “hundreds” of times. Get ready for “Pep didn’t even want to BE your manager! The chairman admitted it!”

It’s discredits Pep and the club. ‘Kin ell.

Not watched one of these for the last two or three seasons. He's like a doctor, who has a brilliant bedside manner but, when you've listened to him and thought "What a great doctor", you later realise he hasn't actually told you what's wrong with you and how he's going to cure you.
i always find it fascinating when someone who has no interest in the subject of a thread finds the time to come onto the thread to tell everyone they are not interested in it.

he is khool as you like,
but everyone who has a main job that involves seriously high-end decisions to make needs an outlet.

i see man city as being more of a lovely hobby to him than an actual workload.
