Hmm, maybe. But the legs we saw from him last season are the legs we saw from Rodri too IMO anyway, both in similar shape. Rodri obviously better all round.
However, the addition of Anderson - who seems to have a ridiculous ability to cover ground - would benefit both players.

Not yet, no, but he has years ahead of him. His ability on the ball is outrageous and being a left footer would give us a perfect balance in midfield too.
I do see the defensive concern, though.

It's bonuses with Anderson thats what I've been told by the same person. City willing to pay 100 million flat it's just the bonuses. Marinakas wants more concrete bonus clauses, to take the deal to 120 million. He wants the record fee for a England player.

Was it not only like a day ago it was reported our first bid had been rejected?often wondered when a bid is rejected why it takes ages to hear about a next one!? Obviously conversations happening and it’s probably optics for the selling club but say we didn’t hear anything else for 3 weeks that would be strange?

Alex Scott is not a DM, and we already have a backup DM to Rodri on Nico G.
