So… a bit of a different one, if we were to do a launch night for the new season to tell you our plans and have a beer who would come? I’m trying to push for a night with you all where you can ask questions and just have a good time how many of you would come to it!

Sounds a good idea mate, but would you be telling us anything new, anything we don’t already know?

@matchdaybus…..the passengers on the 9x certainly started to pick up at the Nags Head stop as the season went on and people started to realise the bus stopped there……quite a few people have said to me they would use the service if there was another bus stop in Davyhulme ….(maybe the Bent Brook area)….Im sure the bus comes that way on the way to the first stop in Flixton (where I get on)

I have added that onto my list. Thank you for your suggestion.

Is there a service that runs from the Leigh/Astley area. I currently live in Eccles and just get the tram to games although getting home is always a hassle, I usually walk into town and get a tram home from there when they have emptied a bit. Anyway we are moving house in a month or two to the Leigh/Astley area and I'm looking at my options for getting to/from games without driving.

Two options- one goes from tyldesley square through Boothstown and along east lancs (bus 11). Then bus 17 they changed the route to start in Leigh, through atherton walkden, swinton. It’s a good service if a little expensive. Maybe they should consider a ten trip discount or something.
