Welcome to the new forum

Strange, are your evening and daytime settings the same then? Do you have a curve/wave with a dot on it and when you click does it go along the curve into daytime, when it is above the line (when the setting should be brighter) to the evening when the dot is below the line (and the setting should be dimmer)? 24 hours preview comes up in a red box when its doing this?
My night setting is on the furthest left on the settings

And what is your daytime setting?? Is it to the right of that? Make sure it is near to the right (mine isnt completely to the right its at 60000k and my nighttime is 34000k) Click done, you should have a wave curve, with a blue dot on it, click the blue dot as its evening (its orange in the daytime) and it should move along simulating what happens over 24 hours in a few seconds, with your display brightness altering depending on the time of day. You should then notice that the screen has an orange effect in the evening to it compared to the daytime setting.

I think that means you've already got the effect because you are at a low setting already, because your eyes have got used to it, that you cant notice it coming into effect or that its already there, or something like that... where's Damocles when you need him??

I think the forum looks excellent and I'd like to offer my thanks/congratulations to all who made it possible. Having moderated/run a forum myself I know only too well how problematic changing something so simple can become.
The new layout is aesthetically pleasing and looks more 2015 than the old site/style did. Good job guys!

Nicely done Ric the new format looks slick. Nice to be able to write your comment at the bottom of the page. Well done

Very nice overall. Took an hour to get used to it but I really like it. It's like the forum's had a haircut and a shave and looks ten years younger. Good work Ric and Damo.
