I agree with this in the main.I really am finding it hard to care about this story. I personally don't see it as the earth shattering story that everyone on here thinks it is. I'm just ambivalent to it, maybe because I really can't see how FIFA affects my enjoyment of Man City. I really don't care where the World Cup is hosted, and if someone has greased a few palms to get it, then so what? The media frenzy surrounding it is also baffling, at the end of the day it's a sport, it's not life and death.
However, it's sodding annoying that men in suits may have been profitting monetarily, to absurd amounts, from a game that is watched predominantly by people who could never even dream of such riches. And in a way that was possibly illegal.

It absolutely is annoying that some fuckers have gotten rich from it, however I try not to think too much about it, especially after MPs screwed the country over their expenses, and bankers became uber squillionaires after fraudulent activity and we had to bail the cunts out. Nowadays I try not to think too much about these bent bastards as it just takes up too much of my valuable time.

Strangely I feel the same, I also can't get into the hatred of Platini, Gill, or even Dyke, I don't think any of them are "bent", just have self interest like we all do in life, I think the conspiracy theorists worry too much.I really am finding it hard to care about this story. To be fair to Gill, he deserves a seat at the top table. He's been out for long enough since he took his principled stand to resign following the Glazer takeover that he was so critical of.

I'd disagree completely, the two being out of UEFA would surely be good news, FIFA have little interest in domestic or european football, and I can't see that changing much, its hard to see how they could affect City from there.This smacks of, be careful what you wish for.
