I'm guessing that it's only a matter of time before match officials get pulled in.
I agree with this in the main.I really am finding it hard to care about this story. I personally don't see it as the earth shattering story that everyone on here thinks it is. I'm just ambivalent to it, maybe because I really can't see how FIFA affects my enjoyment of Man City. I really don't care where the World Cup is hosted, and if someone has greased a few palms to get it, then so what? The media frenzy surrounding it is also baffling, at the end of the day it's a sport, it's not life and death.

@RobHarris: Gill:"Having yet to confirm formally my resignation..more than willing to play my part in helping to bring about a positive future for FIFA"
'We are all in this together' and 'The People's game.'It absolutely is annoying that some fuckers have gotten rich from it, however I try not to think too much about it, especially after MPs screwed the country over their expenses, and bankers became uber squillionaires after fraudulent activity and we had to bail the cunts out. Nowadays I try not to think too much about these bent bastards as it just takes up too much of my valuable time.
Done, just for you. Though I hear it was headline news even on Klingon, so I don't think we really needed to change the thread title to let everyone know.Nice one. Thread title needs adjusting accordingly please mods.
Bang on.'We are all in this together' and 'The People's game.'
Shudders
Strangely I feel the same, I also can't get into the hatred of Platini, Gill, or even Dyke, I don't think any of them are "bent", just have self interest like we all do in life, I think the conspiracy theorists worry too much.I really am finding it hard to care about this story. Please let Blatter have the dirt on Twatini.
It's truly baffling. I don't know who it is that decides what the top news story is, but lately they've got it wrong, and quite spectacularly.Done, just for you. Though I hear it was headline news even on Klingon, so I don't think we really needed to change the thread title to let everyone know.
Its currently bigger news than a 13 year old girl dying in Nottinghamshire, potentially being murdered, 400+ chinese dying in a capsized boat (potentially), 4 seriously injured at Alton Towers, and the sudden death of a well liked former MP.
Let's hope. Abramovic kicked out of football and Chelsea stripped of their titles....
Not a fan of Mr Gill then Pam?
all in good time Pam, once one of them has squealed to the FBI it will start a chain reaction as they are then trying to save there own arses, it wont just stop at FIFA its like a fungus on a tree it spreads from the trunk to the branches and the branches in this case are UEFA and Co, i doubt Platini will put himself forward for the FIFA job he's most likely wishing he could vanish like a fart in the wind at this moment
I'd disagree completely, the two being out of UEFA would surely be good news, FIFA have little interest in domestic or european football, and I can't see that changing much, its hard to see how they could affect City from there. This smacks of, be careful what you wish for. This could end up a lot worse than before.
See Gill decided to keep his seat. Not good. Platini as president, not good.
