Khaldoon End Of Season Interview Thread

The politics of the region will always be ADUG's first consideration before investing, after all it's one of the reasons they bought into City and not the dippers.

CFG will use a Framework like Mckinsey's 7S' to inform investment decisions thus taking account of a wide range of factors including politician, social, financial, staffing etc.

I take it part III is coming soon? Anyone else think it will be after we have made our first signing?

The end of part II wasn't very conclusive - Nor did the interview end with a 'thanks, goodbye'

This guy is damn fine chairman - must be one of the best around - we are bloody lucky to have him

Part 3 - will probably be him stood with Pogba, Sterling, De Bruyn, Messi and a sign with "Fuck you haters!!!!, We are City"

I also reckon the group will expand to South Africa & India - South America maybe difficult with Argentina and Brazil having their core teams and fan problems

To avoid conflicts of interest we might assume that one club in each confederation might be owned by CFG.. The 20% share in Yokohama F Marinos hardly counts as ownership given that NISSAN owns 80% and have control of the stadium and everything else.
That said I´m sure that CFG are happy to provide certain services to YFM given that NISSAN are a major CFG sponsor nowadays.

So lets focus the speculations on Africa and South-America, In South-America I can´t see us buy any established club really.. and in Africa it´s really about what countries you want to have a club in.

YOU KNOW WHEN WE FIRST GOT TOOK OVER THERE WAS AN arab guy(cant remember his name) and he spoke a lot shit and other stuff, I actually thought omg what the fuck are we doing, he went away and khaldoon appeared, since then we have just got better and better as a club ,infact we are now fucking immense club wise.

stadium, cfa, just the whole aura of the club.

Al Fahim? Complete Nutter, more of a liability with a microphone than Garry Cook.

yeah,i think that is half the problem with the shit we get from the press ,first impressions and all that,

who and what does he have to do with sheik Mansour ??
That and they're rag/dippers sympathising cunts.

Big figure in football in Dubai, he was ADUGs spokesman when they first took over.

Sulaiman Abdul Kareem Mohammad Al-Fahim[3] (Arabic: سليمان عبدالكريم محمد الفهيم ‎) (born 1977 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates)[4] is the ex-CEO of the Abu Dhabi based Hydra Properties real estate development company,[5] and president of the Arab Union for Real Estate Development. In March 2009, Al-Fahim was listed fourth in Arabian Business magazine's list of "The World's most influential Arabs

fuck me he came across as comically ali :)

It's an absolute mystery why ADUG put that clown in front of the media. It set us right back.

I can remember a mate of mine ringing me up incredulous, laughing, saying he'd done an interview and someone had said "Are you aware how much Chelsea have spent to win the title? £350 million" and he answered "Is that all?".

Next time I saw him he was in the press box at Portsmouth committing the ultimate football faux pas: wearing the club shirt in the Director's Box. If one of your club's director's turns up at the match wearing a replica kit you are in deep shit.

That was one of his better moments to be fair, put the shits up a few rags.

Al-Fahim was just instructed to broker the takeover I think.. He worked for one of Mansours brothers, Sheikh Tahnoun, but eventually he was sacked by him as well after Hydra properties became a mess.

Man City Cola/Flapjacks/Dungarees and all that.
Absolutely set the clubs image back a fair bit, but importantly it was swiftly recognised and (pretty much) steered on the correct path ever since. His plump, cheeky chops still scorch the google images of Man City Abu Dhabi.
