Seems a little unproven to go into the season with just these. I would think we would need one more striker and take one of either Unal or Iheanacho. If Aguero goes down (praying never happens), we need more than just Bony as a proven replacement.

Exactly right. Far too young and inexperienced. For the good of "squad" progression the morale would be increased more if we promoted Iheanacho over our new signing.

For the other part of the calculation, Jovetic goes and Dzeko stays. Don't know how happy I am about that. FOR ME -

Dzeko; scores goals, important goals, but looks like a total waste of time sometimes/generally needs to be more of a form player than an impact player.
Jovetic is far far too injury prone but when he plays he generally looks capable of offering more, both individually and as part of the "attacking team" within the team.

It's a bit of a :): to me.

We better loan him to play regularly so he can improve.


If you are talented player, you will not play for the reserve when you are 18.


Look at the age Messi, Ronaldo, Ribery, Robben, Hazard, Rooney, Fabregas, Sanchez, Silva, Aguero...etc start playing for the first team, you will find out they were playing every week for the first team when they were 18.



So for his development, its better to loan him or give him a chance to prove himself.

Fuck me, he peaked at Under 14 then............only scored 8 at Under 18. It appears that the older he gets, the less he scores. He's shite.....
