You're familiar with Minshull Street? Is there anything in your past you'd like to unburden yourself of? It's okay; you're among friends on here. You won't get too much abuse. To Mrs. OC: I'll swear down Minshull Street the bastard pushed yer down those stairs!

Riiight. I believe you.I'm very familiar with Minshull Street. The outside of the buildings portray some of the most exquisite architecture in the whole of Manchester. I've no idea what the buildings are like on the inside!
This is absolutely true Guy.The dear missus went away for a long weekend with the girls, leaving me and the lad to fend for ourselves.I love cooking but when we started discussing the washing up,no fucking way would either of us do it.She is a lucky lady to have you mate, i wish her all the best on a fast recovery if only so you don't have to wash pots :-)
Thanks Pet.I`ve pleaded with the wife for years to get a dish-washer,but its a no,no from her.Oh Oakie, I'm sorry for Mrs Oakie but at the same time happy for her. Sorry she hurt herself and hope she gets well soon. Happy because she has an obviously caring husband to look after her. Get round to Asda again for those paper plates etc!! Or buy Mrs Oakie a dishwasher and get that washing up in there. :-)
Congratulations on your Ruby Anniversary and many more of them. :-)
Hi mate.So sorry to hear of your losses and especially those so dear to you.Life isn`t fair and I guess I`ve been so lucky,so far, with my Dad being the only close member of the family that I`ve lost."Celebrated" mine last Sunday with a bottle of Ruby port.
Unfortunately, my good lady passed away 5 years ago, so it was a bit of a damp squib. Would have been her 64th birthday last Friday. Then to top it all, my "kid" (aged 63) brother died last Wednesday!!
Congrats Oakie, at least you made it. Hope your good lady recovers quickly.
Now, where's that advert for "Had an accident in the last 3 years and it wasn't your fault?"
Morning mate.Might be a bit late with the minutes I`m afraid as I`ve got to take her to Leighton Hospital and run her about, but I`ll try my best to get them sorted asap.Sorry to here this oakie. If you need any help mate, you know where I am.
Nowt to do with me mate, honestly !! ;)You got married the day I was born!
Thanks Pet.I`ve pleaded with the wife for years to get a dish-washer,but its a no,no from her.
You can count the number of weeks she`s lost at work over the past 10/15 years on one hand, but she`s certainly going to be off for a month or so.I guess the BHF will still run in her absence.
Today me and Mrs Oakiecokie, celebrate our 40th (Ruby) Wedding Anniversary so we decided to get away for a couple of days in Llandudno, arriving Friday dinner time until Sunday evening,or that was the plan.
Had a wonderful Friday night as one of the finest blues pianists and his band were on in Llandudno, Jules Holland.
Saturday morning we decided to go to Betws ce Coed (SP) having had a wonderful full English breakfast.Ups we trot to our sea view bedroom, getting our stuff togther for a nice day out.
Two steps from the bottom of the stairs and the missus decides to fall down them. She hurt her back and her foot, but eventually after help from the hotel staff, managed to walk gingerly to our car.
We ended up in the A & E Dept at Llandudno, where test revealed that she had bruising to the bottom of her back and also a broken foot, which required a soft plaster cast and a foot support.
Suffice to say, walking for her was a nightmare so we cut short our weekend break and arrived back into Winsford 24 hours earlier than planned.
A lovely start for her 2 week hols, and she also faces 6 weeks on the club.
Ah well I`ll have to go as I need toi do the washing, ironing, hoovering, dusting, cookery BUT I will NOT do any washing up (of the plates) as it just makes me want to spew up.
40 years and the GreatTrain Robbers never did that sort of sentence.
Good job I still love her to bits.
