The commentary on this game is beyond belief - unadulterated, hate-filled rag/dipper slime.

More possession and more shots for City but they ignore that and the nailed on penalties and summarise it as a 'cricket score'. Having said that Hart is having a mare but the third at least wasn't down to him.
What do you expect mate, sly sports at it's very best.
Fuck em.

Think you all need to be prepared for Stearling to get booed wherever he plays apart from home games.

Just getting out of bed (not getting up at 4 am for a friendly sorry) and catching up. Delph injured? Badly?

Denayer was marking Ronaldo as soon as there was movement from Madrid everyone lost their player including Fernando, both young centre backs were no where near their player ,that's the reality, there was only Sagna who stuck to his man
silva and nasri were observing the chaos from a safe distance

The drop in level losing Delph was exceptional. It shows & proves how badly lacking we have been in energy, & it shows how much better we can be against teams like this if we solve that.

We have also seen that Kolarov & Nasri offer nothing to this team at that level. No help to the kids at all without the ball boringly obvious going forward. Sterling is such an improvement on Nasri, it's really exciting for the season. Just needs to learn that he isn't going to get ANY free kicks in a blue shirt.

3-1 against Real Madrid without Kompany, Zabaleta, Mangala, Clichy, Fernandinho, Delph, Aguero and Bony isn't bad at all.

This is Real Madrid's strongest possible team.

I actually like Kolarov to an extent but Christ he is the worst defender by a mile here. Sagna looks great. What is Kolarov doing playing as a winger when they have Bale and Ronaldo on the counter attack? It's just suicidal. No doubt Clichy has to be first choice this season.

Still not doing the basics right.
Nasri getting caught out when he could have nicked the ball.. could have been in on goal himself but no cover when he did get turned.

Ball over the top - Kolarov stood ball watching like a donkey and playing the whole world onside. Good line from Humphries and Denayer, messed up by the seasoned "pro".

Corner... still can't defend from them.

In terms of attacking play, Silva class, Yaya seems second best too often and the same old issues with Nasri and Navas. We move the ball into promising positions and they either dwell on it or lose it. Sterling isn't a target in the box the way Benzema is so we don't have much luck.

I doubt we'll have to play this lineup too often with De Bruyne hopefully signing. Can play Sterling Silva De Bruyne behind Aguero/Bony and will see much more of a threat.

Well they are missing James and Danilo who would be started but I agree it's nothing to be ashamed of. Pre season is only about upping fitness levels and trying out new formations.

Well he dived against Roma the first time. Keeps going down this game with not alot of contact let's be honest, now this handball. Hope he gets it out of his system.
If you think that handball was deliberate then you need to go to spec savers.

And shock horror a smalle
How do you mean?

Commentators usually get behind their nations teams when playing foreign clubs.

However, listening to this you would think Madrid are British.

For a commentator to openly claim that was not a penalty on Yaya is anti-City. There is no other way to describe it.

If this was United, Liverpool or Arsenal there would be constant references about it being a young team against a full strength Madrid not the constant digs.

Kroos is such a good Player. Mystery why Bayern sold him, is there any explanation?

Apart from there, Sterling showed his talent. He needs more training but will be top Player

Thought Fernando and Navas both looked good in that half both going to be very useful squad players. Sagna looks sharp also and hoping Clichy gets 45 mins to cement his place for next season. Its not all doom and gloom ffs lads.
