3 years ago, when we won the league, Vincent Kompany was lorded as one of the (if not THE) best defenders in the world. Since then, he has got gradually worse and worse. Now, he looks at the point where a quadriplegic tortoise would have better positioning that him. He just walks around with a swagger but has absolutely no positive impact on this team any more.

I feel sorry for Evans in that first half. MP set us up with absolutely no one supporting him in the middle. Set up to get a battering. Pathetic management, friendly or not.

they are friendlies and they are an ideal time to play youngsters. If they dont get a chance in competitive games when will they.

I said Capital One Cup, we don't have to put out a team of 11 sixteen year-olds but three or four in a lineup in that competition wouldn't hurt IMO
