Notice how the stairs on the far east side have a different kind of railing?
Wonder if they're creating some sort of devide for away fans.
They're the ones that they can plug in :-)
Maybe just haven't fitted the others yet

Looks weird. Hopefully they fill in those corners soon, because it looks daft where it drops then rises steeply into the new stand. Before it was sleek and organic.

Comments like this are like buying Messi and saying he has no right foot and doesn't win enough headers.
There's truth to it but it's not at all important when the overall product is absolutely brilliant.
I don't think some realise how much of a difficult piece of engineering this new stand was to build and design due to the old cable net restrictions.
I do realise to a certain point, because of everything they've had to do, and how long it's taken, to expand just one stand. However, I am no structural architect.
Are you saying that the shape of the ends of the roof are integral to the overall stability of the stadium? Surely the curve of the roof could have been flattened slightly to lead into the roof of the new stand? This would have also given us more space inside the stadium to fill the corners with more seating when we reach that stage. Just looks a bit daft is all.
Christ the new stand looks so impressive. First home game v Chelsea will be huge.
Lets hope the guys give us a win.
A big advance since I was last over, at the Villa game in April;Just been to the stadium for the Supporters club AGM and took these pics. I hope this works from my phone.![]()

That's what I attempted but there were some 'officials' at the top of the ramp sadly... good effort on the photos though, shows at least the seating is just about doneI went for a piss and urmmm got a bit lost on the way back if you know what I mean [emoji6]

But make no mistake blues, City NEED to get through that test / open training session on Wednesday 12th - so I implore all blues to spend that three quid and get those 100 points to make sure that happens - it will be a MASSIVE let down if we fall short and City are forced to withhold some seat sales because they didn't get the safety certificate - the MUEN red pen will have a f*cking field day and run out of ink on the blank spaces if we let the club down - so everyone do the club a favour and get sign up for it and down there on the 12th!

They had only sold 2000 up to yesterday morning. It would be helpful if the club told us how many tickets they have sold for the training session. You know, people have got better things to do on a Weds evening than watch a glorified kick about, If they are short of numbers i'd certainly make the effort.
