As funny as it is the window isn't closed. If they get Pedro and a keeper they should be challenging. I'll laugh for now but we know the rags have money to burn.

Well this is the third summer window where they've burnt a fair amount and so far with fuck all return apart from scraping 4th last season. Pedro is a Barca backup player who may or may not hack it in the PL and are there any quality keepers out there that Van Gaal hasn't yet pissed off?

Pedro is a good player but not that good.

You'd have thought they'd have pent all Summer looking at deals for keepers seeing a they were willing to trade with Real Madrid so with 3 week of the window left they should be able to replace De Gea

A lot of weight resting on the shoulders of Depay. They need him to click straight away

Pedro has a goals per game ratio at Barca of one every @3 .6 games - Kun @ 1.5 - So not that good indeed.

As for GK I still suspect Cillesen will be the subject of a late bid by vanNutjob when DeGea goes - a GK we must remember who has NEVER saved a penalty in in whom vNjob has so much confidence he subbed him in the World Cup. So assuming DeGea leaves that would be GK at the rags would be Valdes - no squad number allocated - Romero - free transfer - Lindegaard who has been told he can leave on a free - Johnstone an untried kid - Oh a huge bid would secure Cillessen a GK he has shown he has no confidence in.

I say again and that is supposed to be a team on course for a PL Champs spot......................... FFS ??

Oh and fuck Walking in Memphis - unless he can play in several different positions at once whats the point??
 
I fucking love the mess turtle head is making at the swamp. I remember when they announced they were appointing him as manager and people on here were flapping and I told them he wouldn't last long cos he has fallen out with nearly everyone he has ever worked for. Already forced Di Maria out and De Gea soon to follow.

If Johnstone starts I would/am put some money on a straight red. I watched him in some friendlies unfortunately couldn't judge his shot stopping but he comes off his line fast as fuck. Has massive confidence in himself as a sweeper keeper (over confident). A speedy winger or forward can easily make him commit outside the box. He is also poor at claiming crosses and gets caught in no mans land. Unless he is a good shot stopper I can't see why he us on their books but he is a red card waiting to happen.

I don't think the most expensive flop English football has ever seen needed much forcing out of the swamp.

He never wanted to go there in the first place and was desperate to join PSG last Summer.

I can not fucking wait for Harry Kane to pan them this afternoon. Trippier running down the wing, whips the ball in, Kane beats Jones to it & leaves the keeper flapping.
