I seriously don't think they'd make top 4.. RAG fans seem too giddy. I can see Spurs causing a first day upset.

When you look at the players they've lost.. they are weaker.

Not according to vanNutjob who said earlier on Sly they are stronger than last year - after announcing De Gea was dropped? Its either his grasp on English that is poor or his grasp on reality - now I understand what he says so................
 
All it will take is an injury to Rooney and they are done. I don't like to target players but if I was an opponent manager i'd tell my defenders to stick one on him.

Can you imagine the injury crisis us, Chelsea, Arsenal, Loserpool and Spuds are gonna have to have - all at the same time - for the rags to stand a chance?? Fuck me that and red cards flying round like confetti. And how long before vanNutjob pisses Grannyshagger off????

Fact of the matter is he - like Twitcher and and Maureen and Bodger and GPC before them are always good for a soundbite ..... makes your job easier if you have something to comment on from an interview so why bite the hand that feeds you? Pellers says far less than even Mancini did so they have nothing to say about us and when pressed all they can do is speculate or make shit up.........

If they had gone into the season with this squad last year or the year before i'd agree but sadly i think the top 4 is as secure this season as it's been since before we broke into it. Liverpool have bought nothing but decent players and lost their best and only top class player and Spurs haven't really done anything to suggest they will push on from last season.

This is my worry , didnt scudenmore say we NEED scum to be successful in the prem or words to that effect .

To be fair to the guy ( and I don't want to be ) what he said was that the rags struggling meant that affects PL appeal in some markets which does impact on the the financial appeal ( no evidence of that next season !! ) but he did go on to say that it is a competition which means people have to compete and there will be winners and losers.
