West Brom Vs City Post Match Thread

Only team to look like Champions' elect.

Stunning performance I thought, had the hunger back, much better defensively keeping out West Brom's 8000 crosses, urgently pressing the opposition.

I'd love to see Demichellis permanently anchor our midfield, he's so fucking cool on the ball.
 
Fernandhino the workhorse. To play the whole game top class. He was my pick out of the team. I think with Sterling he will get stronger and stronger. Think there was some subs were I was hoping 1 of Denayer or Nacho got a run out but hey ho a minor complaint. Also with the South Americans coming back into the team we needed to get them game time. Think it will be the same 11 for Chelsea to start with maybe Kun taking over from Bony cant wait for it. Roll it on and keep the train going.
 
Well let's no go over board but we played top notch tonight. Wat can We say about David silva tonight top notch shame he never got a goal.. Bring on Chelsea..
 
Brilliant all round performance from all the players. The defence looked solid, aggressive and ultimately dominant. Man of the match will have to go to Silva but Sagna ran him close. A very solid performance from him, Like the Sagna of old. Fernandinho once again showed why he is such a top player.

Raheem played well but was a bit nervous and got mentally exhausted in the second half but still did a good job and a good start for him. Great moment and show of passion from Kompany when he scored, after all he has been through, he just let it all out. Great moment.

The second half was a procession but all in all a very good start to the season and with a couple of signings still to come, there is a lot to be excited about. Well done.
 
Very professional performance, even if the second half fizzled out somewhat. Merlin is a joy to watch. Honourable mentions to the two full backs tonight. Yaya very impressive as well.

Hopefully that Yacob will get what's coming to him. He's just a Cattermole Lite, kicking anything that moves. Dirty twat.

I thought both full backs were great, Silva from another planet, and if we continue to press as a team like that for the rest of the season everyone else is playing for 2nd place.
 
a very good performance tonight by the boys so proud of them all of them played very well .....add KDB at what we already have in attack and that will be pure pornography...C'mon City!!!!!
 
Brilliant! Hopefully the end of 442 will now see the return of the hard to beat Manchester City with just as many goals scored!!!

We looked strong defensively, controlled the midfield and looked menacing when attacking. The word to describe us was 'solid'!

My Manchester City are on the way back! :-)
 
Oh and David Silva is officially the best player I've ever seen play for City
