Lopes not taking a lower number is ominous in my eyes, didn't play much in pre season and strongly linked with a move away, of course with only 1 year left on his contract too. Shame if he does go without having a run of games, having been knocking on the door for 3 seasons now.

So who is likely to take the #2 and #9 - going to be interesting to see if someone fills these numbers before the start of the season. Was hoping Kelechi Iheanacho would take the #9, but maybe the number has already been set aside for a new addition?

Glad that you asked. You must be in my OCD club. The numbers need tidying up! More than anything, how can we play without a number 9?

Got the signed Aguaro shirt today for my lad and nephew that the club promised when he changed his number.

Very nice of the man and club, and comes with a certificate of authenticity too.

Must have been a few sent them back for signing as it's been a while, god knows how long it would have been if he wasn't out injured...

Anybody know of any decent shirt framers..

With Gabriel Jesus likely to take number 33, I'd like to know do our squad numbers drive anybody else mental or is it just me? Sagna 3, Kolarov 11, Navas 15, Otamendi 30?!
Even a few years ago the likes of Teves, Balo, NDJ and Toure had awkward numbers. Am I the only one with a hint of OCD about this?
