I can't see him displacing Otamendi or Mangala, definitely needs to go on loan, probably to a Premier League club.

Think it was the way he responded. People only pointed out that it was Foe's retired number and that if he was a new fan he should read up on some of our history (2003) is pretty recent too. He answered "Did I make you cry?"

I think Kompany Mangala MD and Denayer are a PL winning set of CB's.

But we don't just want to win the PL, and compared to the top european teams, that group of 4 isn't up to scratch. Especially not with Demichelis being 35 and coming off an international tournament/no summer break.

With Demichelis likely leaving next summer it makes sense to bring him in now while he's available as he'll push Kompany and Mangala even harder.

Obviously the main worry is if it hampers Denayer and his development
