Sheikh Mansour

I know we have the "Manchester thanks you" banner but I'd love for us to do something better to show our appreciation, any ideas?

He's a fookin bandwagoner. Never used to see him before the takeover.

He's not just a billionaire with a private jet ... he is royal family too ... and he is a cabinet member, a senior minister ... so him coming into the country would trigger all sorts of diplomatic govt level protocols (and not to forget his royal status, given we too have royal family here in this country) ... so I guess to avoid causing all that drama he simply chooses to watch us from afar.

His son has attended a few games, look out for a boy in VIP seats whenever Khaldoon is in attendance and a very peculiar guy with lots of facial hair (a greying beard and a big moustache), he's either family or a personal body guard as he's always by kid's side.

And as per Khaldoon's interview a few years back, the sheikh never misses a single minute of any City game, even those not broadcast on commercial channels, he manages to get a satellite feed covered for them just for his 'majlis' which is kind of Arabian tradition, big screen projector out on the lawn or in a marquee, sitting on carpets on the floor with big pillows and cushions.

This is at odds to what United fans tell me.. I thought we were his playing thing, City were just his own version of football manager..
He's just our sugar daddy and when he gets bored he'll just drop us like a spoilt child drops his old toy.

It's almost as though Sheikh Mansour and ADUG have bought and invested their time and money wisely with some kind of long term strategy.

I'm confused, do I believe the United fans or do I put my faith in Sheikh Mansour?

Do you think he will give us a visit anytime soon?

Only the Liverpool match a couple of years ago I remember him attending.

I realise we aren't his only business interest and he has commitments at home.

Just wondered if anyone knew if it was in the pipeline for him to view all the changes up close in the near future?

When my brother was murdered in Syria ( Alan Henning the Salford taxi driver ) we were guests of the club for the cup game Newcastle (we lost) I spoke to Sheikh Mansours personal attendant, when he is in Manchester, she said he had been to at least 3 games so we don't always get told when he is here.

I didn't know your brother but he had a heart of gold, even under such tragic circumstances you must be proud of him.

Very sad, a good man. I know a little bit about Islamic history and it's nothing to do with these criminals

Sorry for your loss blue. As said though how proud you must be

Members of the family were at a couple of games last season, they take over quite a large section of the stadium with private routes in and out that are sealed so no one can even get close... on a side note his personal chef has his own box which was used 3 times last season ;)
