UNO is Champions league

City's Hierarchy in this transfer window is showing that they want success in the Champions league. Really when you think about it to achieve a status of a global brand, team needs exposure at the highest level and that is the champions league. I remember myself back in the day watching some champions league matches and that's how I started to learn about teams like AC Milan, Ajax, United et all, and success in Europe is what gives you a global exposure. I know the premier league is great and all but to grow as a global name we need to be a challenging force at the European level and that is through the champions league.
 
The desire to be recognised by the world of football is something we all want as a club,if wining the champions league will bring that pride to us I'm all for it.

I believe, if I've understood what you're saying, that you believe we should prioritise winning the Champion's League this season. If so, then I can't agree. Winning the domestic title will ALWAYS be my number 1 priority for City. Obviously I'd be delighted if we won the Champion's League, and I certainly hope we can do so at some stage in the not too distant future, but winning the Premier League is my number one priority for City.

I an very sorry for writing this post,which u find it difficulty reading and I apologise for my english .
 
I'd love us to win the CL, but i don't think it's the be all. I find a lot of the games quite boring.
Most home teams are just trying to stop the away team getting that all important goal.
i think the domestic league should always be our priority. It's our bread and butter.

No need to apologise, I was pointing out to others perhaps it would be better to cut you some slack as you're clearly not someone who speaks English as a first language. I got the gist of what you wrote, although I didn't agree with what you were saying!

Which teams are in which pots?

Pot 1: Barcelona, Chelsea, Bayern München, Juventus, Benfica, Saint-Germain, Zenit and PSV Eindhoven. There will be one side from Pot 1 in each group.



  • The remaing three pots, as usual, will be decided by each team's UEFA club coefficient.
  • The exactly make-up of those pots will be decided by the play-off winners, but the following is certain.


Pot 2: Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid, FC Porto, Arsenal, Manchester City
Pot 2 or 3: Sevilla, Olympique Lyonnais, Dynamo Kyiv
Pot 3: Olympiacos, Galatasaray
Pot 3 or 4: Roma, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Wolfsburg
Pot 4: Gent

Just hope there's some variation this year. Probably get Wolfsburg after the kdb summer saga!

Just a shame we can't have the rags in our group.

I believe is best if we go that path to prove a point to the world how much we belong to the elite clubs in the world.
