The danger of a republican winning is that they'll start another unnecessary war. I can't say much for Hillary but I think she'd be smart enough to resist the urge to invade Iran to get reelected.

I don't see it happening, everybody I know in a 100% republican state loves having health insurance. I think that's going to be what keeps the gov' dem
 
I love what he's doing to the GOP. They're a bunch of sanctimonious career cock smokers. I think he sums up the whole movement.... the fact that the general public actually find him more appealable than that cracks me up

He could be the factor that swings everything to the democrats. Primaries usually bring out the worst in the GOP and it seems like they're doubling down this time. Once this gets past the primaries the GOP candidate will have had to say so much crazy shit that nobody will have any respect for them at all.
 
I think this is the "Producers" scenario - Trump did not want to succeed and was just trying to up his celebrity Q score and had no intention of having a real campaign or spending the money it would require.

But the more crazy shit he says the more popular he gets. Now he seems to be trying to be a more legit candidate.

I hate all politicians and have no dog in this fight. But I can't imagine Trump would be the Republican nominee. At the analogous stage just since I've been in the US there have been front-runners even more bonkers than this guy (i.e. Michele Bachmann).

I would say that anyone who thinks Hillary or whoever the Republican nominee is will be doing anything other than effectively serving the fifth term of George W Bush - well I'd just disagree with you politely and leave it at that.

But when pressed for any details he just says something to the effect of "I have a plan and I'll take care of it".
 
There's no way he will win. The only reason he is pulling the crowds he is getting is because he is an idiot. Its a freak show. Who would you rather go and watch, dull Jed Bush or Donald Trump making a right twat out himself? Few beers and Trump everytime for me, would be a right laugh
 
And after 4 years of trump in the whitehouse Sweaty Ken will take over, promising tax cuts for hoe's and bitches, free entry to 'the club' and all the Crystal you can drink..

He is going to kill the republicans for a decade, his friends the clintons must be delighted. By the time they recover in 4 years the Supreme Court will be liberal for 2 decades and all but two of the circuits will be liberal for just as long. He may even help the democrats tackle the criminal gerrymandering of the republicans.
 
Representatives will proceed with legislation to impeach Mr Trump because he poses an "imminent threat" to the country's democracy.

Mrs Pelosi said the House will first try to get Mr Trump's vice president Mike Pence and his cabinet to oust him using the 25th amendment with legislation on Monday.

But as this will almost certainly be blocked by Republicans, a full House vote will be convened on Tuesday to pave way for the impeachment process
