The root cause is the unrest in the Middle East (and northern Africa for many of those in Calais and the rest of Europe). The issue with migrants will not stop unless the root cause is tackled. When the West has strode into war in that area of the world it hasn't been accepted by those living there, and rightly so. Hence, the only way to resolve this root cause is for the peaceful people of that region to stand up and fight for their home. It's what Britain had to do 75 years ago when it was threatened.
On the photo, it is absolutely tragic but it shouldn't cause anyone to change their opinion on the problem. It is simply highlighting something that has unfortunately been happening in large numbers for some time.
I would suggest that Britain should contribute something - temporary fostering of children from the area possibly - but that something should not be permanent.
Your suggesting ideas to solve the problem, unless you state categorically that we should not only let everyone who wants to come in but actually go and get them you are a heartless ****
It's how it works on here
