help with stadium ban

i hope you get this sorted mate, but if the club offer resistance (as they most probably will, and have every right to do) i would suggest you remind yourself that it was you that fucked up, not them.

one of life's lessons learnt there.
He thought he was doing the right thing ,how many moan about empty seats ?

Beer in your seat will never happen. After seeing the way beer is lobbed around on concourses during half time, I can only see beer being thrown from all sides during a game, akin to a juveniles first concert. Being In 114 and right next to the away end, I'll have to take a waterproof to every game for the jessies who can't throw far enough.
On another note, I think its about time we were treated correctly and allowed to take a pint to your seat. I would include UCL games as well. Can we start an on-line petition.

I've messaged stadiumsecurity@mcfc.co.uk as they won't give me a name or number to get this resolved so will have to await their response.
The terms on your seasoncard do say you can give it to a 'guest' that you know if you are unable to make the game so I'm hopeful the appeal will go my way. Though if I'd just not gone due to working, wedding etc which would make it harder to prove it wasn't me I wouldn't be anywhere near as hopeful.
A few people have said the buck rests with me though I disagree. I did what lots of people do when they can't make a game and passed it on so the seat would be filled. 99% of the time these transactions pass by without issue I was just unfortunate and I certainly won't be doing that again so the seat will remain empty (unless it sells via ticket exchange) and the MEN can have their little story about empty seats.

Similar happened to me and was told you shouldn't give your ticket to anyone and 3 game ban stood also had to sign a declaration that if I was banned further more the ban would be for life before I got ticket back

Eh?

No idea I don't know him it's the brother of someone I know was row s though so about 2/3 of the way back just in from the aisle

Do you know roughly how old he is? Should he have known better?

Who do you think the buck rest with?

Who do you think the buck rest with?

Clearly the person who commited the offence . I passed my ticket on as it says I can in the terms and conditions. If city pass it on via ticket exchange and that person commits the offence would I also be held accountable?
im pretty sure I wouldn't yet what's the difference? We have both passed tickets on via a legitimate method. Yes at present I am banned because they think the person commiting the act was me but I'll be amazed if I am still held accountable for others actions once I have proved it wasn't me.
But I guess I'll find out soon enough

think the guy who took over from Fletcher is called Stephen McGraph (not 100% on the spelling) not had any issue's over past few years but told he is just as bad to deal with..
can't belive people on here are sticking up for the club... things like this don't surprise me anymore, it's like when people where getting banned for smoking when they actually weren't but city don't want to know and make it as difficult as possible to get it resolved..

imo all that was required was to tell the lad to go and finish his pint off in the concourse and if he was caught again the would get kicked out.

I said on here last night mate that it's a cunts trick what the lad did to you and it's him who should be shelling out for those 3 fixtures
Tbh if you can prove it wasn't you and explain that you've been hung out to dry I'd like to think city will be sympathetic
I know someone a few years ago who lent his card out and the fucker who had it got caught smoking in the bogs, i'm sure it was going to be a season ban iirc but got it down to just a game as he had been a season goer for 36 years with not a blemish, explained his case and was lucky.

Happened to me a few seasons ago,got accused of smoking in the bogs( wasn't by the way)by some Showsec twat, emptied all my pockets to prove I had no cigs, lighter, fuck all and told them to search me.Took me and my little lad downstairs to sort it out and one of them asked to look at our season cards.
I gave them to him and he fucked off through a door, the other Showsec wankers opened a fire exit and pushed me and my lad outside.
I asked the club to prove in any way I was smoking, they couldn't but I was still banned for 3 games.......they would not budge.
Dunno if this has been suggested but I would tell your mate to tell his brother that you want the money for the face value of the tickets for the games your going to miss.If he's got anything about him he'll pay up.

Don't think it's as bad now,but I think them wankers got to a point of trying to justify their jobs.
I had about 6 or 7 people telling them I wasn't smoking, they were having none of it.
Worked with a lad who never smoked in his life, same happened to him.

Just spoken with city, only the ticket office not the security people. I was told last night by the ticket office it was a stadium Ban this morning I am being told it's a total ban so can't purchase away tickets either, not sure how long this lasts for.
She says even if I prove it wasn't me I am accountable for their actions.
I just wonder who the winner is here I lose over £100 miss out on an unknown number of games including aways and city have an empty seat for those games even though they know I personally didn't do anything wrong.
Just moved into 115 to try and help improve the atmosphere and this has now left a bad taste in my mouth as to how the club is treating fans or as they call them customers.
Anyone advertising their tickets on here on the travel and tickets section needs to think twice as to whether it is worth the risk

Yes I think City have had a word, the attitude of stewards was putting people off and seems to be a lot better.Dont get me wrong if people are smoking they need to be told but it seemed they were looking for problems that werent there in other cases.I wont take any shit like that, fcuking jobs worths some of them.

Most people I know lend there season ticket to mates when they don't go. In this case the Op was unfortunate that he lent it to an idiot.

This should defo not be a full ban for a season, boll*cking for a few games with a warning that next time etc. would be a lot more reasonable.

I can see why City take a firm stance as it could impact licenses etc. I also be that a significant number of people who bring in flask have a drop of alchohol in their coffee
