Can't believe that, at 0-0 we look really comfortable, not great but comfortable.
Wasted some really good chances.
Soon as we went 1-0 it went to shit. We got deeper and deeper and they created more and more chances.
We should have either got the players out or at least made a change in personnel.
The changes come too late as usual.
We play abit longer and really needed to get Sergio on, we do too late as usual.
Really pissed off, we don't help ourselves do we.

we didnt deserve to win this game...we were back to old ways and it cost us...Sterling and Bony missed good chances and Silva must not have been fully fit as played below his normal high standards...and lost the ball a few times.....only person that played a great game was Fernandinho....I hoped we had learnt we cant play this way in CL.....

Yaya's usual "do fuck all" champions league performance.

Pellers needs to be man enough to stop selecting him.

Yet some people in the match day thread thought he played well. Every time him and Nasri received the ball all forward momentum stopped. They should have been off at half time with De Bruyne and Navas coming on. We had nobody giving us width tonight and that is what Navas gives us.

Same old shit well next time just send the reserve or a b team like for domestic cups. Cause its becoming just a waste of time even under mancini didnt lose any European game at home.
Bye CL. Just concentrate on the league now

bony and nasri were both poor in my opinion....especially bony who wasted clear chances, i know sterling cant finish but on that 2 on 1 he blazes 10 yards wide and didnt even test the keeper, that is pathetic

don't quite know how we ended up losing that !!! however we should have been 3-0 up if Sterling and Bony put away clear cut chances. Harsh reality check because for some reason we just seem to be not able to transfer league form into champions league performances

Don't quiet know how we ended up scoring one!! If this is the way we play at home then just watch how Juventus and Sevilla will murder us on their home turf.

Some will question Pellegrini but it's the same players not translating PL performances to UCL football, pretty simple.

We might as well play the EDS in this tournament. We will never get to grips with it. It's like groundhog day every bloody year. Just shows the lack of quality in the premier league if you ask me. We'll scrape through by hook or by crook then get dumped out by a semi decent Spanish side in the next round.

I'm taking the positives out of this!!

We will beat them in Turin; they won't get so lucky!

I'm glad we conceded points here instead of the Premier league.

For me the domestic treble would be the ultimate ecstasy!

We win a West Ham and this season couldn't have started any better

Naïve from yet again and I will give Juventus credit as they got their tactics bang on and made us look slow at times and negated our threats. It isn't the end of the world, It is going to be a test on how we will respond against BMG.

Two very soft goals to concede, with the height our defense posses its strange how they get find out against long balls, it was the problem last season as well.

Italian teams are always good defensively , we only have ourselves to blame for missed chances and letting them play on their own pace.

Ok the display was pretty poor from the players. But what the hell was that from the supporters. It was a huge champions league night and the entire stadium was quiet. The small Juventus contingent was louder. Poor display from everyone tonight. Or maybe I'm just pissed off.

Frustrating.

I thought we did well in the first half. If we'd have upped the pace, we could have scored 1 or 2. Sterling and Bony both should have scored, you've got to be absolutely clinical in the Champion's League. We were in complete control, I knew a goal was coming, especially with Aguero and De Bruyne still to come on. Keep a clean sheet and we win the game.

1-0 up - great. Let's see out the win. But we were so open! Unbelievably open. You'd think we were chasing the game. Look at when Pogba crosses the ball for Juventus' first, look at all the space, we were ridiculously open. I just don't think we defend well enough as a TEAM in this competition. Once we scored our goal, we should have been tight and hard to break down. Fernando and Fernandinho sat in front of the back four, not moving. Solid. Wingers tracking back (why take Sterling off before Nasri?) and protecting full backs. None of that happened and we lost not one, but two goals. Disappointing.
