WTF - loads of Juve fans in South Stand Tier 1 last night.

Felt sorry for 2 of them who were keeping their heads down and not causing any problems but there were loads of them bigging it up and making it obvious and pissing people off.

The stewards were told and a chant of 'get them out' started at one point with the steward telling the home fans to calm down.

I accept that our fans go in the home sections when we go to CL games and that in return we'll get the same thing happening but I was amazed that the club had sold tickets to non-City fans in our singing section - that's just asking for trouble.

Why weren't Season card holders sold those seats first before the tickets went out on open sale?

Yep go and sit in the away end at Juventus and celebrate a goal and you'd be got at by there fans and battered by there police!

They had 1500 empty seats in SS Tier 3 so could have just put them up there. If they know English based Italians are going to apply for tickets then make that a Nuetral zone or something and advertise it as that.

There was alot in the second tier of the south stand too, behaved fairly well but still celebrating when Juve scored. Asking for trouble they shouldn't be allowed to sit with us if they have an away allocation it sort of killed the atmosphere of the block which was the worst bit.

Same happened with CSKA and their 'banned' fans last year.

Showsec are very good at telling people to sit down, taking peoples seat numbers and throwing old men out, but ask them to do their job against someone who could be slightly confrontational, and they shit themselves.

Got absolutely no problem with it. If you can't control yourself sat next to a few away fans then you've got some serious issues.
Sorry but that's a load of shit. Why should we be in a position to control ourselves? Watching your team gettin beat is bad enough without having opposition fans in your face rubbing it in.
Maybe one day the game will have been diluted enough and everyone can sit together holding hands but for now, away fans sitting in the home end is asking for trouble.

Same in CBL1 seemed almost a 50/50 split but they weren't any bother and one of them got a shirt from one of their players at the end of the game. They were respectful and didn't jump up when their team scored so I have no problem with them.

The 2 stewards allocated to 115 last night looked terrified - kept wandering up and down the aisle trying not to notice the problems

I don't get it though? There were hundreds and hundreds of seats in the away end lying empty. Why on earth should several sections of the home support be infiltrated by them. Respectful or not, the day this becomes a norm is the day I pack it in going.
