Chelsea Thread (2015-16)

Heard from a very reliable source that the Eva Carneiro & John Terry 'oustings' at a similar time are no coincidence.

I find this very hard to believe. Why would Carneiro risk destroying her career for the sake of a fling with John Terry? As a doctor, wouldn't it be a huge breach of her ethical code? It makes no sense that someone in her position would risk never being able to work again. That rumour only serves to help the Chelsea hierarchy who need to find a way of discrediting her as a means of covering up their own embarrassing handling of the situation.

As for Chelsea v Arsenal, a draw or Chelsea win would suit me. I think we need to look at opening up more daylight in some of the other teams.

I think JOTL was insinuating that there may be a more sinister reason for the "ousting's". Perhaps an internal power struggle started by the insecure one.

Ah ok. I read that it was the timings being in relation to each other and also thinking back to the piece in one of the Sunday papers that said she'd had an affair with a player.

I get the feeling Chelsea will have a poor season in the league. I think it would be better for us if they beat Arsenal who are possibly our biggest contenders for the title however when their down you want to make sure their dead and an Arsenal win would be a nail in the coffin. So in a way almost any result will be good for us with nil nil being the best.

I know a draw would be the best. But i just don't see Arsenal maintaining a title challenge anyway.

And i'm really really enjoying Chelsea's demise. So i'm happy for the Arse to stuff them !!!

I'm going to be a 'Temporary Tarquin' and hope the Chavs take a severe beating. The sooner Maureen fucks off the better. I've had more than enough of his tiresome antics and his dull, dull, dull so-called football. I'd like to see John Terry piss off to the USA where all the other used-to-be's are and never set foot on England's green and pleasant again. And I'd like Costa to bugger off, too. The surly, diving, cheating fucker.

Chelsea win for me. There is something serious going on behind the scenes and a win over Arsenal won't put that right. Arsenal the look the most likely to challenge so I want them to drop points. A draw would be a nice compromise.

Apart from that, you really don't have an opinion on the matter then KB?

Got a feeling Chelsea will win tomorrow. Can see the positives in any outcome though.

Draw would be perfect, Arsenal win would be comical to see Chelsea fall even further, Chelsea win gives us more space from Arsenal if we pick up points.

Personally see Chelsea as coming good sooner rather than later & still putting in a challenge so for me: Draw>Arsenal>Chelsea.

Draw means our title challengers drop 4 points, a win either way means they drop 3. Unless you think one of Arsenal or Chelsea aren't title challengers then a draw is the best option.

Draw. Should allow us to open more of a gap on Chelsea. I think they'd quit on the title at 15 points behind. I think Arsenal will quit on the title at 10 points behind. A Rags draw at Southampton and fingers crossed a win for us, and heads will be down in all three camps. 7 on Arsenal and United and 14 on Chelsea after 6 games would be exceptional.

They can all do what they like, we just need to beat West Ham. Spurs should take care of its self, as for the horse punchers at home. We win our next 3 and heads at Arsenal, Chelsea and Rags will be all about top 4.
