Serious question...

It's not easy supporting City

It's incredibly easy to support City. We generally win 70% of our games, playing fantastic football, with world class players all over the pitch, in a newly expanded stadium across the road from our £300m Academy and training ground, next to our 8,000 stadium for our Women's and Youth teams.

It's an absolute cakewalk to support us compared to what it used to be.

Had over 40 years of shit so I'm still living the dream.

Only forty. Jeez you've had it easy! I've been shovelling the shite and polishing turds for near seven decades. And just as we get one of the best squads we've ever had, I've run out of polish!

Anyway, I've got near full kit on, no shin pads(!), and I'm sitting in Row E ready for BMG!

On the train back now and thinking even a win in Germany won't make things much better. Don't mind getting beat but today was like surrender. Only thing to make it better is a big win next week. Sunderland getting a result might help.

Pisses me off for days, more now than ever.

Hate watching us on the box but wife dragged me to the pub on 35 mins, 1-1 when we arrived. We were shit from the moment we started watching. left on 85 minutes.
I knew the day man on security was a red and the night man Chelski , they were both their laughing when we got through the door, then about six rolled up in red on the way to the pub, they had a laugh too.

Hardly spoke since the match. A good night out and an England win later might bring me round. Not on until 2300 here though.

Agree 100% mate.

How much does City getting beat effect your weekend and general state of mind??
Got to say it fecking floors me and mine! I can't turn this weekend around now,its all about getting to the next game, prem game anyway,im just not feeling the ucl.
Just get me to next weekend, let's get back on track and bury todays shambles,I mean how do you lot turn your weekends back around? I've got four children I should be entertaining that should take my mind off City as well as other things to be getting on with but it never works!??
On occasion we get beat at home these days it proper spoils the beer down town later on,and on rare occasion I've been known just to f##k off back home straight after! Just wanted to know how some of you lot handle it,I've done all that 'argh FCK it let's get smashed' when I was younger, just seems harder to shake off the disappointment these days.
drink and more drink

After the Juve game and ordinary performances v Watford and Palace I had score on West Ham and a ton on Spurs (after seeing the side) which gave me £200 and £250 profit respectively.

As I refuse to go to WHL these days or give Spurs a penny, I am not that affected and shall have an enjoyable night with some posh nose bag and flagons of ale.

As I'm someone who suffers from mental illness and is on daily medication, it means the world to me that we win. Pathetic I know, but just beating the mackums made me feel happy. Sorry but it really does have an effect on me. It shouldn't, but it does.

I don't deal with it very well.
"Oh its just a game strangeways! Straighten your face"
Used to make me seethe horrendously when the ex quipped that fucker. The now Mrs Shwc is much more diplomatic, says awww and changes subject. God bless her.
It still hits me hard and makes me a miserable twat.

Well; a more miserable twat than I normally am.
First laugh of the afternoon. Top marks Jim.

There's an old guy out there who used to be 6'3 with black curly hair and you should see what supporting City has done to him!

This team is not fulfilling its potential, that's the most frustrating thing about it for me.

i start work here on sunday at my place , so if we have the match on saturday ,it is one of the worst possible mood , especially with the manner of loss

im half bevvied now,and i'll drink a few more hours till paraletic and sleep early...really pathetic for a 50 year with a 8 year old son...I literally despise losing these days ,,,:-(
