Newcastle fans today

course they were going to get giddy.

what was worse was the in-jest "we're just a shit man united" chant, absolutely horrible despite it being in jest, put the shivers up me, we should never, EVER sing that, in jest or not. Horrid.

It wasn't in jest I have lived in Newcastle for 35 years they have some decent fans most are deluded

I have fond memories of the day they decided to try and trash the Clarence and its clientele; so not all good. Still they turned up to fuck up that rag infested Crown (Long street Middleton) today; so not all bad

A little tongue in cheek, there were two coaches of Geordies when I went past. A little bladdered but no hassle I believe but we were discussing in the Fold if they needed some help we'd have obliged . they have always been a typical set of rags in that place.
Yes, still a rags pub but quite a few City go in now to take the piss.
Still gets graffitied on the outside on the occasional derby day due to their years of arrogance and hatred towards us.
They used to have a City 'poor bucket' pre Mansour days, where they used to throw small change into. Keep asking where it is now, as the Glazers might have some use for it

Always been a bunch of cunts in there

Don`t mine the Newcastle fans at all, always travelled to Maine Rd & Etihad in numbers .

Don't mind Newcastle fans at all. Generally bring decent numbers with them wherever and they have the ability to laugh at themselves. Some good humour from them when we was banging in our 5th and 6th. The where were you when you were shit chant was rather ironic considering the gates they were getting when they were in the championship, but there's not going to be a team we play against that don't sing that ill-thought out song.

Seen a few of them go over the first metal barrier at the front when they scored (but not the main one to the pitch) and got thrown out for it. Thought it was incredibly harsh. It seemed to me they were almost forced to jump it as they went crazy and piled towards the front. One guy literally stepped over it to avoid ending up on his arse and immediately stepped back over before any steward got near him yet was still collared from within the crowd and thrown out.

There was a **** wearing a Burberry scarf giving it the biggun but he fucked off before we equalised and never came back, was gutted as he was in for some right shit.

Also some fat **** spat at us on level 1.

Dirty Geordie shore cunts got everything they deserved today.

Like all supporters, most are good people, but you get the odd tosser. They are no different to any others.

I've seen some right dickhead City fans on my travels over the years as well.

I'm not bothered by them.

Booze and a gang mentality will always lead some to do daft things, and we are no different.

The Newcastle fans I saw today were just ordinary folks going quietly about their business.

I think City have a kinship with Sunderland and West Ham in that we have been shit in the past, endured it, accepted it but still turned up and hoped there would be better times ahead. I don't sense that with most of Newcastle's support. Just an entitled, arrogant sense of injustice that they shouldn't be as poor as they are compared to other premier league clubs. Newcastle are shit and have been for some time, they'd be better off developing a sense of humour.

Though Newcastle fans where good today the ones that where left today applauded aguero when he went off. Don't forget where we have come from and how we where???

Only went to SJP once in 1983 when we lost 5-0 and the fuckers kicked off everywhere.
The only ground I swore never to return to - and I never did..... went to both Merseyside grounds, Leeds, Rags, Millwall, Chelsea and yes there was trouble but nothing on this scale.
Fuck knows what they would have done to us had we drawn......
I appreciate it was 32 years ago..... but memories remain.... hope the deluded ''Geordie nation'' twats get relegated....

As has been said, the Mackems are a much better set of supporters. I worked up that way in an office that was split 50/50 Sunderland and Newcastle fans, so got an interesting insight into the mentality of both.

I really hope Newcastle go down and rot.
