Some Utd fans are beyond clueless it must be said. Fella called "Rozay" on redcafe seems to think we would buy Rooney with a view to shadenfreude.
Well Rozay you have minimal knowledge about City seemingly. To think we would care to engage in that shit when we are ahead of you in every sense besides noodle sponsors is... well your opinion but one rather built on fantasy. With Tevez it was banter and we needed him, this would just be bad business.
I find that reasoning almost tragic but rather funny.

Buy Rooney and piss up our carefully cultured setup just to think we would be laughing at you if we bought him ?

I suggest you stick a video of the trebble on and smile at the good old day's bud :-)

He is the 100 lb albatross around our neck...the white pele, successfully ransoming the club for 300k/week and made captain. The sooner LVG realizes that he hasn't played anywhere near well enough to justify a starting role the sooner we can find someone to play the 10 position to better effect.

Nothing giddy coming from me, horse. Although, the United thread went ghostly silent for a week. It's lovely to see all of the regulars back in abundance now. Manimanc was talking to himself for a spell, it was pretty tragic.

Just read an article about the Muller transfer, and this beaut was in the comments section:

Ever heard of spondulicks, mullah, MONEY??????? You utter clown. The game is ruled by money now and the PL money is soaring. Utd will leave Real in their wake this year. Bayern are nowhere in the equation v Utd. Bayern is bigger? On what measurement? There is none whether you want to pick revenue, profit, valuation...Bayern have a better chance of winning things? Not for fu*king long fella and that's why Muller will be on his way soon. The football world is about to change significantly. What amazes me is, despite all the articles published, even on mainstream websites, by the likes of Forbes and Deloittes about the earnings , wealth and projected growth of the main teams, most fans are clueless and can't work it out. Trust me fella, Utd will dominate Bayern and others for a very long time starting next year.

sounding more and more like Liverpool fans , next year will be our year
 
If we finish above them this season that will be 3 seasons on the run. And 4 out of 5 seasons. That must hurt them. Seems a badly run club in many ways to me.
 
What good is having a load of revenue from selling manyoo car air freshners in Hong Kong if the Yankee doodles are going to use it on empty shopping centres?

I know I mean thats a business plan that spawned FCUM - what will they do next when the Glasers really start raping the club finances when the big TV money comes on stream??

If this happens what do people think about starting off an Annual Celebration Day like Arsenal have with "St Totteringham's Day"? Too soon or not? A bit of pay back for "the banner." We could call it "St Trafford's Day" or "Sir Alex Ferguson (not in my lifetime) Day".

Haha! Fair play to you mate. I admire someone who stands his ground. I think you're a keeper. Wish there were a few other rags with a bit of backbone who felt capable of posting with any regularity on here.

It's brutal, but ultimately rewarding, if you endure.
