Smoking

I'm sure the hospitals tonight are creaking at the seams with people who went for a slash and endured 2 minutes of "passive smoking" and developed a chronic lung disease.

Whereas no-one will be in there because of any alcohol related incidents.

Which has nothing whatsoever to do with the subject being discussed it's not allowed in the stadium what part of that don't you understand? The majority don't smoke why should they have put up with 2nd hand smoke

Drinking alcohol in the stadium isn't banned. Smoking is. Keep on topic.

It has everything to do with the subject being discussed. The majority also don't drink to excess but have to put up with people that do. Which part of that don't you understand ?

But being drunk and disorderly (i.e drinking to excess) is also not tolerated at the stadium.

Have you been out getting trolleyed or are you being purposely obtuse? Drinking ain't banned in th stadium. Smoking is. What isn't clear about that?

Stinking of smoke in the new stand top tier toilets today.... Surely the smokers can last a couple of hours FFS... How do they manage on a flight to Benidorm I wonder

Forget the science and whether or not second hand smoke is a real damage to lungs.

Smoke smells terrible. Why would someone who needs a wee want to smell it, and have it linger on their clothes? just for needing a piss? I've never encountered a person who likes the smell.. why isn't there a au de toilette stink of smoke lynx effect spray?

oh cos it smells like shitfart. Why do that to people? I don't get it. It's courtesy.

You did read the question about standing ?
Go to the standing thread. This one is about smoking in the stadium - which is banned by the way. I couldn't give a toss about people who stand in the stadium. If the stewards want to take necessary action then so be it.

Your point is that smoking is banned in the stadium end so it should be stopped end of story. But you have a different view on standing, which is also banned. So its not about what is banned, its about what you don't like.

I sit in the third tier and the toilets are a smoke free zone. (south stand)
I like a fag on match days but it doesn't bother me to go without for 90 mins.
W
hen i was in the 3rd tier of the east stand you could go and have a fag on the spiralls and it didn't bother anyone.

I sat in the CB Stand yesterday instead of the SS. Went to the toilet at half time and there were 4 Showsec stood outside and 6 inside. So they are basically happy to police the smoking ban where they know they won't get any shit but are nowhere to be seen in the SS. Shit houses the lot of them

I am guessing less than 5 per cent smoke at the match. It stinks and is antisocial and it is against the law. I wish the club would take a hard line. Life has moved on. I still find it staggering that not many years ago pubs and restaraunts used to have that stench.

I hope the club eradicate the problem I really do.
