They are such depressing team to watch, they seem to suck the life out of games which can be effective but that is it, no attack or creativity just the sucking.
I would be bored shitless if i were a utd fan, Van Gaal's one saving grace is he has them in 4th atm.
They have the rest of this season and next of this dross, i can't think of anything worse.......haaaaaaahahahahahahahahhahaha.
I`ve just got crucified on the match day forum for saying virtually that. They really are a piss poor team.

They arent piss poor, they are dull, efficient and well set up, so hard to break down, big difference between the 2.
To be honest I thought they were better than us today. Yer man Martial looked very threatening, counter balanced by the ever increasingly shit Rooney. Their full backs had Sterling and KdB in their back pockets.

No they are piss poor to watch and just slightly better than a Tony Pullis team.

They arent good to watch, thus me saying they are dull. They arent piss poor, Villa are piss poor, Newcastle are piss poor. They outplayed us at their place last season, finished in the top 4 and are currently in the top 4. You have your opinion that is fine, I happen to think they are the 3rd best team in the division at the moment, so a point in their own back yard isnt too bad in the grand scheme of things, especially without our best 2 attacking talents. There is a growing arrogance that we should blow every team away, football isnt like that, sometimes you need to dig in and take whats on offer, today, with the chances created by both sides that was a point today. A point gained.

Not sure really. I suppose it depends on whether we're good enough to play through you or not. So far this season, we haven't had the quality going forward, although when we've shown glimpses of that it's come from Herrera. It looks as if we'll give it a go and chuck Fellaini on later if all else fails.

Thought you looked better when Fellani come on and Lindegard for that matter. Glad Rooney was up top and not Martial.

As I`ve said before I seldom come on here and slag our team off,but I was (still am) annoyed that we carried too many passengers today.I certainly don`t think that we should be blowing everyone out of the water and I`m far more cautious than overly optimistic but today we didn`t look in the slightest bit strong going forward.I`ve even seen people suggest that we had tired players and yet we didn`t travel in midweek.Ah well wonder what sort of team will be put out midweek ?

True, we produced so little going forward, they were the better side, didnt think whatshisname did that much though, although he was all action compared to wiggy. Somehow Tony Vallance managed to have Sterling in his back pocket and roast Kolarov continually in the first half. Good job Otamendi and Vince (with the Ferns) were so good today.

Thats more reasonable mate, we under performed today I totally agree with that, especially going forward, but they were well set up and hard to break down, they are dull as dishwater, I just objected to you calling the 3rd best side in the league piss poor thats all.

Hopefully Nacho and one or two of the younger lads will get a run out in the week, ginger Kev looks like he needs a breather, but there is no reason why we should have been any more tired than them today.

He's going backwards at an alarming rate of knots, considering he's still only 30. The twat usually scores against us, but he never looked remotely like netting today. Nic had him in his back pocket. Dare they drop him?

He is an old 30 though, considering he's been playing in the top flight for so many years and he was an early developer.

Sells too many shirts in Singapore to drop him though, they have to pay that £300k a week somehow.

Will Woy dare drop him for Vardy or Kane??

United are going to have a huge decision to make regarding Rooney soon. They surely can't keep starting him every week.

Wasn't impressed by them today at all. We were missing our two best players but never looked like losing the game. Everything about their team is so rigid. They're well organised, probably too well organised going forward. There's no fluidity in their forward play at all.

Martial looks good for his age. Putting him out wide and playing Rooney down the middle is pretty funny though.

you don't think a team that won the treble would qualify for the CL, that side under Ferguson imo would piss the PL this year
No, I don't think a side that won the treble in 99 would qualify for the CL. They weren't head and shoulders above anyone and weren't the best team in Europe that season either.

Winning a CL doesn't denote that. Look at Liverpool in 2005 or Chelsea a few years back, neither finished top 4 in the league.

Playing a 442 every week with that team they'd get twatted on the break to the likes of Palace, Arsenal, ourselves, West Ham and even the current United.

As I say, it's a different age now and they wouldn't be anywhere near as successful with that set up.

As for pissing the league, you're having a laugh.

Martial was their best forward and far more of a threat going forward than Rooney, or Bony, for that matter. He looked a bit better than Sterling on the day, which is damning with faint praise I guess. I got the impression though that he likes to use his own physicality, but once he'd been flattened a couple of times, he seemed to fade a bit. Looked a bit short of a £38M player though. But then again, Sterling, KDB and Bony hardly impressed.

Did someone say they were dull though? Dull?? That was their biggest home game of the season and in what minute did they have their first shot on target? Thank God we don't have to put up with shyte like that at home every other week.
