Showsec Block 109 today

Ahhh the penny's dropped.

Are the club blind? Can they not just have a quick look and see they all do and spend their time if it bothers them that much trying to rectify it? Seems pointless getting the village idiots in yellow writing down random seat numbers of people who don't have a choice but stand, £700 seems a lot of money to stare at someone's back for 90 minutes

I am quite surprised poundland in chadderton haven't headhunted these individuals, shelves don't stack themselves

Never have a problem in 110 apart from today when a lad kicked off near me got dragged to the concourse then brought back then he kicked off again, got told what happened but I couldn't hear fuck all!

He was stood in front of me he was absolutely wasted kept kicking off so he got taken out the first time to calm down , he came back and started being an absolute pollock again they asked him to leave his mate helped them get him out then he attempted to head butt one of the security who was actually helping him up the stairs his mate was embarrassed apologising to everyone

The answer is simple. Kick the little pricks head in. I take it they come into the concourse at half time do they? Tell him somebody is smoking in the bogs, follow him in and smash the granny out of him.
Purely a suggestion this by the way.

If pricks like you didn't come to games we wouldn't need Showsec!

Yeah I sat two seats away from him on the same row, tried to headbutt a city fan as well for laughing at him, think the first time he kicked off it was about a pint being spilt or summin, kicked off with the guy who sits next to me, the second time I haven't a clue what his problem was but he was a state..... In my honest opinion if you can't handle your drink you shouldn't be drinking at all.

Don't know about this block but there does seem to be more bell ends standing about in aisles and stood during the game for no reason (fair enough standing when we go close or whatever). Not arsed if they are booted out, I can get my dog to sit and its thick as fuck.

Haha mor

haha the probability that I have spoken to you today is quite high then haha I must stand behind you. I was watching him up the stairs and that tall las security the nice one it was him he tried to head butt

Haha Yeah you will do then, I was the lad in the hat with the black jacket on, glasses and ginger beard! Yeah I saw him do that, felt sorry for that steward as he's a sound lad.

We're constantly told that we're on CCTV all match, so if they just want to jot down the seat numbers of standers, surely it can be done that way, rather than impeding the view of everyone by having these pillocks marching up and down steps for 90 minutes waving their arms?

Maybe he's writing down the drinks & food order for half time?
I agree they need to be reigned in, little power tripping cunts

Whenever I had a boring job I'd spend the day sketching veiny penises on my notepad. Don't be too quick to judge.

Disgusting behaviour from two of them, one of them Inparticular.
Seemed hell bent on throwing someone out today.
One of them spent nearly the whole game writing down what I assume people's row numbers and seats.
Seemed to jot down quite a few in the middle of the block.

If I'm at a game, I don't mind sitting or standing, neither is an issue to me, if the bloke in front wants to stand then that's fine by me, I'll stand too, whilst being considerate of the person behind me, I'll always check with them behind me if I'm ok standing.
It's a football game people are gonna get up and down in the excitement of things.
But why, when we're attacking or there's some action going on, are these jobsworths trying to make us sit down??

What annoyed me the most about it, on 34minutes 50 seconds, people began to clap and stand up, yet these twats still told people to sit down before being told by a fan what people were doing.

There's no need for it, it's spooling things for me and people around me, people Near the aisles seemed to be getting annoyed with it today and I don't blame them.

Just a heads up for anyone that was told to sit down today, but carried on trying to watch the game, one of lads in the pictures below had about 2 pieces of paper full of notes. Pathetic.
The power proper gets to some people's heads, it's embarrassing

No point taking pictures, they're just doing their jobs...

I don't pay £750 a season to watch someone walk up and down the aisle obstructing my view every ten minutes. And I don't need telling to sit down when my team is on the attack.
It sucks all the enjoyment out of going to games.

I must be missing something, aren't they literally hired and paid to do exactly this?

Telling people to sit down when we're on the attack??
Standing constantly in front of people sat down and obstructing people's view?
Telling people to sit down when we're taking a corner??

"sit down please, you're not allowed to stand up and get behind your team"

Do me a favour.

Yes, No, Yes.

You aren't allowed to stand, those are the rules. You not liking the rules doesn't really mean much to people paid to enforce them.

Then don't pay and don't go. You've really provided an easy solution to your own grievance there. Whether they're simply following instructions is certainly debatable, but it seems to be having such an extreme impact on your enjoyment that maybe it would be less stressful to give the ST up and make way for someone who may have a higher tolerance level?
