Your Top 3 City Managers...

Only been watching since 89 so I'm going for:

Mancini
Pellers
Keegan

But with a mention to Brian Horton because I have such fond memories of those days and Howard Kendall for signing Niall Quinn.

Based purely on my favourite seasons

Keegan - I could watch that Season's DVD every day!
Mancini - Obviously!
Pellers - Class act & 1 Million Goals, what's not to love?

Joe Mercer - what an era! A gentleman too.
Bobby Mancini - got us back in the big time. Charismatic and passionate.
Manuel Pellegrini - charming man, attacking football.

Pellers: Love his footballing philosophy, cool, calm keeps the wanker media at arms length.
Mancini: Defensively solid, took that banner down, hair and scarf,
Keegan: for Benarbia, Berko and the Goat.

In order:

Mancini - for his passion and obviously winning our first major trophy since I've been alive!
Pellegrini - for his attacking fluent football (even though sometimes it doesn't work out)
Keegan - for his "you score 3 we'll score 4 football", getting us promoted, played some good football with average - good players.

Bonus Pick

Joe Royle - for taking us out the shit back into where we belong!

Tony Book - i was only 10, had just started understanding what it meant to be a blue, and we won the league cup - the playground was a good place to be in those days
Mancini - delivered the title and a FA cup, tore down the banner, and took no shit off the red nosed twats
Pellers - Quietly goes about his business, and god do we look good when we are on fire,

speacial mention to keegan - that season where he won us promotion from DIV 1 to premier league was some of the best football i had seen at city for years espeacially after the dross we had been used to, berkovic, bernabia, SWP, the goat, huckerby, god how times have changed, still need to pinch myself sometimes
