Other Cities are probably easier targets yes, but how many are involved in the fight against the likes of ISIS, who are as easy ?

They'll go after the easiest important target, and its highly likely these will be home grown terrorists, its a City with very ethnic divided areas, much more so than say the UK.
 
I was at the Wales game tonight and news was trickling through about what had happened and confusion reigned in the stands. People were saying the game had been abandoned and the stadium itself had been blown up so imagine what it was like in the actual city it was happening in. Horrible thought, I wouldn't know what to do.

Hollande looks completely lost, it's obviously come as a huge shock to him that this has happened.

Aye that's really going to help with matters isn't it. We have swarms of refugees and future terrorists coming here as it is why make it worse by bombing their countries further. This will not stop happening until western troops are out of the middle east.

To be fair to him i can't imagine you could prepare yourself for anything like this.
I am sure their intelligence knew something was in the offing but it can't be easy to track every militant islamist.
This huge recent unregulated surge into Europe would have been perfect for them to flood Europe with sleeper agents/ active service units etc etc.

So many dead, the poor poor fuckers.

Yup, massive and hugely disenfranchised muslim community in France from all their african colonies. Pretty much a breeding ground for extremists. Huge amount of anti-muslim discrimination and unsurprisingly a large amount of extremists, which in turn brings more anti-muslim discrimination which leads to more extremists, etc etc etc. Chicken and egg I guess as to which caused which, but it's a full on circle jerk that's only going to get worse as both just feed each other.
 
It's ISIS that needs taking out. That is fairly fucking obvious.

Like I said earlier I'm not getting involved in the political aspect and clearly not every Muslim/Islamist will be a terrorist.

However, finding the twats is now beyond difficult. The infiltration is widespread and the fuckers who killed all those innocent human beings tonight will probably hold French passports.

That makes it especially difficult to produce a militant response, and given the nature of the thing I'm afraid there will always be collateral damage.

If in some people's eyes that damage makes an armed response unjust then that's down to them, but in this instance I would personally fight fire with fire. Such radical religion will only develop into further terrorism unless we stop it right now in this very moment.

You cannot reason with these people. I'm afraid more innocent will be killed to stop it, but that will be less than if we allow it to continue.
 
It's all very chilling. I remember watching SSN earlier today when the German national team were evacuated from their hotel after a tip off. If I'm honest, I expected that would be the end of it and that it was merely a scare. Then this happens :(
