We all were , I am disappointed when we lose a meaningless friendly.

Losing and getting a hiding is part and parcel of competitive sport , you hope in our case we win enough games or get enough points despite the inconsistency to win our third title in five years and that's all we can hope for.

Absolutely....I hope we don't get humiliated again like that

Caballero

Maffeo
Sagna
Kolarov
Clichy

Fernando
Demichelis

De Bruyne
Yaya

Kidd
Aguero.

Could be the type of game Yaya can shine in.........hopefully......

We'll never know if Saturday's team was all Pelli's idea or pressure from above to try and close out top spot in this group. It's fair to probably say the big boss man wants CL glory more than Prem glory.

Not sure how losing a game as badly as we did on Saturday will improve our chances against Juventus.

If anything it may have a negative impact on the some of the players that feel the weight of expectation more than others.

I know the Sheikh probably want CL success but if we get to the knockout stages and draw one of the top three does anyone see us progressing further? If we have our full first eleven all fit and firing maybe but that is almost impossible.

Let's hope Pellers gave'em the hair dryer/football boot/flying cups & saucer treatment after that sorry performance on Saturday, and we will return to the Sevilla away level of play tonight.....?!!!!

Hart
Sagna Mangala Otamendi Clichy
Fernando
Fernandinho Toure
KDB Sterling
Aguero

Subs Navas > Aguero Delph > Toure

I'd perhaps start Delph over Toure but it won't happen.

you gonna say that before every game? i won't give them a 2nd thought if we go on to win the League.....

Alas we could win the quadruple and some would spend so much of the summer going on about defeats to Liverpool and Spurs that they'd miss their chance to celebrate.

Fernando Delph
Navas Fernandinho Sterling

KDB won't have too much left in the tank after Saturday.

Given our options, kolarov aside, thats the team id like to see.I think that central midfield trio can form a formidable act.

Wouldn't be that surprised if we started with Aguero on the bench, in fact It would be my preferred starting line up with a front 3 of Sterling Debruyne and Navas and a midfield 3 of Fernando Fernandinho and Toure / Delph
