He was offside so it is irrelevant.Yes I know - but still should have finished it IMO.

Delighted and relieved with the points.
Good selection and much more impetus. Excellent first 30 but error strewn and in cohesive thereafter.
Well done Willy, excellent safe, a real test that I'm not sure we'd have come through if they'd equalised.
Decent looking breaks and opportunities ending with the inability to find a man or passing behind a player.
Confidence and anxiety the problems today.
Not the manager nor motivation.
Agreed. The fact he was offside wasn't great. He should be able to stay onside in that type of situation.
Good post. I was very pleased with the first half. Southampton are a good team. Things to work on as always but well done City. Lots of effort and running which for me creates space & pass options.Toure played a superb ball down the wing to De Bruyne around 35 minutes..as did Otamendi out of defence to Sterling later who could've scored. These are the things that City could do more of & has the fans on their feet and applauding in appreciation.
think we need to cut the guys some slack today, saints were unbeaten away and it was on the back of a big c/l match ,pleased with the 3 points ,p s who the bright spark who asked the club to stop playing blue moon at kick off come on own up
That bit of play from Otamendi with th pass was superb. Pity
sterling couldn't do anything with it.
better than the silence that now replaces itThat geeing up the crowd before the game was odd. Has it really come to having to rely on this to get the atmosphere going?
Didn't we win comfortably? Someone needs to tell this thread ffs. Good performance overall, ref spoiled 2nd half with some bizarre decision making.
