Ref for Southampton.

He must have got lost on his way to Twickenham, those lengthy advantages were pure Union.

How did that early foul on Sergio not warrant a yellow card, it was brutal??

Not very often I comment on a ref's as I wouldn't want to be one.

The tone of the match was set within the first 10 mins - some fouls which were let go that warranted a card.

The obvious pulling of shirts of Kun & ya ya without no free kick awarded.

I could go on but feel myself getting wound up already

Poor today, very poor!

Lots of bollocks being talked about the ref tonight, like after every game.

They are not bent, they are not biased, they are the best at the job that we have. It's a fast moving game in the PL and at time they will get decisions wrong. Get over it, they are not the only people on the pitch to get decisions wrong. Almost every player on the pitch will do so in every game.

They (the refs) are assessed at each game, what kind of assessment do you think they want? Do you think they want to be seen as a good ref, or a bad ref? Just think about it.

If in doubt read a few refereeing autobiographies.

Oh by the way, I am not and have never been a ref.

Nope. Not trying to take any moral high ground. He was shit, incapable of doing his job and in any other profession he (along with almost all of them) would be sacked for that kind of ineptitude. To suggest they are all bent and corrupt is an entirely different thing and just plain wrong. Every team has their set of fans that believe every ref has a personal vendetta against their team and only their team. In reality, they don't, they're just not up to the job. Unless you're suggesting the refs are deliberately shite in games not involving us too just to keep up the act of just being crap at their job so that they can achieve their real goal of being as bent as possible against us. If that's the case then i take off my tin foil hat to you.

We're not talking about anything other than todays referee and todays game, do not try and make it out like I have said things I clearly haven't.

OK Mr East, we really do believe that you are not and never have been a ref!!!

Rodney if you thought that was acceptable then you have no fucking idea mate. He was the worse I have seen in years.

Can't believe we got more yellow cards than Southampton .
I don't like the fact we put the ball out to play when a Southampton player was down .
We should have just played on .
Like other teams have done against us in the past .
Words can't describe how bad Rodger East was today .
But we have had a long list of them this season .

Bizarre argument. He was dire. Shockingly bad. He didn't want to be - but, nevertheless, he was.

Well his assessor should be putting in his report today that he was not good, any fucker in that ground today could see it,he was fucking crap, how can you call a play back after like about 10 seconds when they were on an attack for fuck sake, what was he waiting for to happen, them score,I mean if they had a shot and put it over bar for instance, would he have brought it back ?

Roger fucking East's head certainly went west today, and 54102 would agree, unless you were at the match so that would make 54101 of us

The ref today was shocking even both managers who are pretty mild and easy going mentioned him.

I didn't think he had a good game.

I thought that Yaya had an absolute shocker, but I don't think he's useless or bent or whatever. Just someone trying to do their best at something that is actually quite difficult. Just like Roger East.

Well they had an advantage chalked off when he pulled it back for a foul, jut as it looked like
Mane was off straight on goal. He was fucking useless for everyone, today.

All we are asking for is consistency, if you play on and give the advantage, then pull it back when no advantage accrues then you must do it for both teams. He didn't do that today

Football fans in knowing the ref was shit shocker.
Corrected for you.

I've refereed matches better than he did. I'll bet there is a similar thread on any Southampton forums, he was worse than gash. Should be struck off the list for making so many errors in one game, worst I've seen in a very long time, would make Uriah Rennie look like Colina. F**king £80k per year they get.

Ref was rubbish all round for both teams - I hope he gets marked down badly by the man in the stands and has a couple of weeks off to think about what he did (and didn't) do today

Yeah, you'll have to forgive my insanely retentive brain for this singular occasion of failing to recollect the number of threads on here praising the ref after a game, even when we've won comprehensively.

Have you seen 'Groundhog Day'?
